Some cant mentioned Dortmund letting people stay in their beds after the bomb incident, which was nice obviously but as a club Celtic do a huge deal helping those less fortunate.

I'm sure Dortmund as a club does significantly more than just giving folk a bed.

In fact most clubs do fantastic charitable work, either in their own community or globally.

At the end of the day it wasn't Dortmund as a club who offered accommodation to the Monaco fans - it was the supporters themselves, off their own back. I think that deserved recognition but it was a very nice display to commemorate a great achievement.

True Ivan, ach well better luck next year dortmund.

The points i mentioned along with the display were perhaps used to help award us with it. Also the atmosphere that let us have the first and only safe standing section in the UK could have added brownie points.

I don't take these awards seriously to be honest. It was far more reliable when it was decided by France Football magazine rather than this bastardised version where they've merged it with FIFA. Now it's just a popularity contest.

It's even worse in the women's awards. They've included an amateur player as one of the top three picks just because she scored a good goal in u19 qualifying.
