was really good against pool but he has been pretty average to poor in the other games he's played this season though. he was outstanding last season, and would agree went slightly unnoticed.
agree with the above, he's been very on and off this season and got 21 goals in all comps last, needs to be more consistent especially with players coming back in from injury
A great addition to our squad. In a way he's unfortunate not to be a regular starter for us.
Reminds me of Dirk Kuyt for us, although Son is technically better he has a very similar work rate and desire like Kuyt did, and is a player that is greatly appreciated by his own fans but not much love outside the club.
Great player and Poch knows how and when to use him.
People forget he didn’t do preseason so is still getting up to speed but looked very good V Liverpool ( and Dortmund tbf )
He’s a extremely important player for us
And to think some wanted to persist with Lennon, it truly baffles the mind
Son is a great little player. I would say more consistency would be great but 21 goals from his position last year is hard to argue against. I guess when we mention his consistency, we are referring to his influence waning over 90 minutes. You could say the same for Ali though.
And to think some wanted to persist with Lennon, it truly baffles the mind

No wonder Chicken has gone into hiding
Glad Poch talked him round to staying. It gave Son more confidence knowing he had the managers backing. He's never looked back since.

Had he scored that chane at 2-0 that hit the bar I dread to think what the final result would have been
Lennon struggled to get in the Everton team
Son is an excellent player and yes vastly under rated by some!
Love his new nickname Uson......................courtesy of Ian Wright!

When you are utterly disproved over several years, it must be difficult to pluck up courage for more inevitable ridicule
Seeing Lamela turning out for spurs will trigger him into posting, guaranteed
Yeah I could go with that
Luka , guarantee mate chicken will be back once Lamela starts. That's what an utter to** he is. I highly doubt he is even a proper Spurs fan mate. Just a WUM and a cr** one at that.
He can be a little clumsy at times and can be a bit wasteful

you obviously don't watch him enough if you think he's clumsy. I watch him every week and he's fantastic. Don't downplay his abilities.

I haven't seen much of him (Chicken) since we became a force in the league. Perhaps he preferred us when we were more average.
Definitely as good as lewandowski
I enjoy watching him play, he works very hard. I do sometimes wonder if his concentration is suspect but he usually proves me wrong by scoring well like on Sunday - that was not an easy goal to score as Terry Henry said on Sky.
Son is brilliant, I love him.
Last season he was exceptional and definitely didn't get the widespread credit he deserved. He scored one less goal overall than Alli, who the media decided was the new footballing messiah.
Only problem is that I think he's much better when he gets a consistent run of games, when he comes in and out of the side he's not quite as good. Seems to take him a couple of games to relax and get up to his top level. But he's not going to get ahead of Alli Eriksen or Kane, so his game time is limited.
I wonder at what point he'll want to be first choice somewhere, hopefully he's happy here.
As much as I do love him, he was a bit wasteful the other day. It didn't matter in the end thankfully.
