The final nail for Slaven?
Spurs should win this match, they were pretty comfortable winners a couple of weeks back, and the 3-2 scoreline flattered West Ham big-time. Be interesting though to see team selections from both sides. Bearing in mind the all singing, all dancing City squad were taken to penalties last night, and Arsenal to extra time by two championship sides, it shows if you disrespect your opponents too much you can come unstuck, both City and Arsenal should have lost.

We need to do a job tonight and keep the momentum building towards the weekend. I'm sure we will. Good news about Dembele and Rose. Glad there're playing apart again. Hopefully we'll have enough tonight to bring on some youngsters as well.

I can see us losing this match tonight
Poch has said this cup is not our priority and we will certainly field squad players whereas it is West Ham's cup final
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All the top managers say the league cup is not a priority, but they all want to win it. Spurs squad players are pretty useful these days. Not like back in the day, when they were all next to useless. Poch has beefed up the squad, so that the squad players are in effect all at the level of the 1st teamers. I can see a pretty comfortable win for Spurs, whatever team he puts out.

Got a slightly uneasy feeling about this game; on the back of two big results in glamour games this is a bit of a come down for us whereas for West Ham it's their cup final. Also suspect they'll field a stronger side than we will, what with Man Utd being next up for us followed immediately by Real Madrid. We really do have bigger fish to fry at present whereas Billic is scrapping for his job and a cup scalp would get him some credit in the bank. If we play a weak side and Carroll plays he could give us grief. I'm not counting any chickens.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don`t think West Ham will go strong, they have a big six pointer with Palace at the weekend. He will make changes, knowing he is going to in all probability get the sack anyway, and tonight will not save him.
West Ham are in a shiiit place as a club at the moment. It's the sort of feeling most of their supporters get being stuck in a dank caravan all their life. Not much love around that club at present. Our squad players will need to show that they can step up when called upon. It'll be an awful result if they knock us out tonight.
Bilic needs tonights game like another hole in his backside. If he goes with a strong line up against our fringe players he increases his chances of a victory but risks injuries for the Palace game which is far more important. Whereas if he plays the reserves and gets a right doing its another nail in his coffin.
The thing is the team will include players coming back from injury, and is likely to include Trippier, Rose, Dembele, Llorente, Winks, etc with a smattering of other first teamers. Should easily be strong enough.
Anybody braving it this evening? I don't think there'll be many pleasantries shared between both sets of supporters tonight.
interesting comments from gladioli this morning on the reason that they failed to score for the first time this season, blaming the ball, not a nike or adidas it was a mitre

i'm there tonight for both the game and ace's homemade p0rn0
Couple of weeks back, I was driving near Gatwick and a garish monstrosity of a Roller shot past me after hanging on my tail for the entire length of the interchange. Not like I could get out of his way. I did what most sensible drivers would do, I applied my brakes to annoy the tvrd sniffer and shouted out of the window as it passed. Then it dawned on me. The pig ugly roller had a number plate of D GOLD and had silver sides with a maroon skid mark from front to back, revolting. Totally lacking in class. It really goes from top to bottom at WHU.
