Gordon - 5 - His kicking/passing is still causing us major problems, doesn't command his area, need to upgrade soon.

Lustig - 8 - Best game at that level for a while, stuck to his task well and used the ball well.

Boyata - 6 - Mistake aside he was as solids as he's been for the last 12 months, felt sorry for him but it was a shocker

Bitton - 7 - Pressed well, was more aggressive than usual, could maybe of been tighter to Martinez for the goal

Tierney - 9 - He's getting better and better, 100 games for Celtic at the weekend, I think he'd like to stay forever but I don't think the board will let him once the big money starts flooding in.

Brown - 8 - Mr Reliable on the big stage, wound Vidal up to the stage he had to get taken off and spat the dummy big time, 245 out of 252 passes completed.

Armstrong - 5 - Poor miss at the start, he's got the heart of a field mouse, some encouraging bits n bobs with the ball but I'm not sure he's good enough for that level

Forrest - 9 - One of his best games for Celtic, looked confident on the ball and you felt he could make things happen, had Alaba on toast. Great assist, more of the same please on a regular basis.

McGregor - 8.5 - Typical McGregor performance, kept the ball, moved it quickly, threat attacking wise, always on the move, solid Celtic player for years to come

Sinclair - 3 - I reckon he may of touched the ball 7 or 8 times in an hour, seemed to keep hiding in the middle of the park when he was needed defensively on the wing, his forms worrying

Dembele - 6.5 - Thought he done ok until the last 20 minutes, used his power and pace well at times but his touch and passing was off


Rogic - 2 - had a great chance to slip Dembele in late on and the ball got caught up in his feet which happens too much for my liking, apart from that never done anything

Griffiths - 2 - a better pass and Dembele was in late on


Thought the ref had a cracking game

i try not to be 2 hard on subs but i thought griff and rogic could have done better

that aside i thought sinclair looked completely lost on the park, thats why he doesnt play for england.

Anyone else think that Esc bathing in a large tub of vagisil might help him out?

I'm not seeing how Armstrong can be rated below McGregor other than for that miss.

I'm not saying McGregor had a poor game but Armstrong out shone him.

I was talking to Paddy during the game and we wer saying how good it was to see Armstrong being strong and brave battling into and around several Bayern players, not getting brushed off easily like he used to.

I sometimes think people rate players on what they expect and not what happened

Have to disagree with the ratings - especially MacGregor who didn't appear until the second half

He can replace Sinclair, Forrest keeps his place

Armstrong gave the ball away quite a bit in the first half, one almost leading to a goal but he grew into it and got better.

Still don’t think he’ll ever be good enough consistently at this level.

I would have had rogic on sooner and sinclair off. Was a terrible miss by armstrong - watched the highlights back he could have cushioned it across to Sinclair for a tap in. His other shot in the second half was unlucky though as was Dembele almost getting on the end of armstrong cutback

Armstrong is in there for his high energy. He was all over the place last night! Agreed though, he does give the ball away cheaply an awful lot. Watching the highlights earlier, that chance he had was an absolute sitter man!

It was a good line up, Armstrong has plenty of energy but he needs to work on a few things so hopefully Brenda can develop him.

Same line up as Aberdeen and on hindsight Rogic should have started in place of Sinclair otherwise.

Forrest was on fire, long may it continue.

Gordon is frustrating sometimes he is amazing at saves then he has moments like rushing out and bad kicking,
