On reflection, Democrispcy is an ugly word.

But yes, a big italian sub is an excellent choice always, but more of a weekend thing. Piles of meats, provolone, oil, vinegar, hots. Thats a full meal that needs a beer to go with it, or at the very least a large glass of milk.

Something that requires that many napkins really isn;t suitable as a casual work lunch.

if you're talking sandwiches. chicken, bacon & ham, or cheese, bacon & ham. from bar remo's on bow lane.

or roast lamb, roast pots & Yorkshire pudding, with mint sauce and gravy, in thick cut bread from fuzzy's grub. (green veg/carrots are available, but just waste space that could be taken up with more meat)

all 3 will beat anything from anywhere else.

as for crisps, with a tuna sarnie. only 1 option: a packet of benson's spicy hedgehog flavour crisps.
