I recently bought the most expensive North Face jacket as it's extra climate control features were what I need for my 20 metre walk between Five Guys and Nandos, which is the only time I ever go outside, so the iphone X is obviously a must have for me. But I just hope they charge extra for things I don't know that I want but they make me need because the £999 surely can't include headphones. I may get a white BMW on credit while I am out at the shops too.

Apparently the OnePlus 5 is as good as or better than both the Apple and Samsung Flagships but at a far lower price.
Thoughts? If you have money to waste and want an Iphone then go ahead but expect to pay over the odds for a now subpar product.

I had a perfectly good one a few years ago, pretty big, black, just standard for this generation. I however gave it away to an Italian mate for free, and I instead bought the latest showy one that did a few new tricks but was pretty ineffective at actually doing what I needed it to do. So I shipped it off on the cheap to a mate of mine in Paris and went to buy my old one back, you know, the big black one. But my Italian mate said he had really valued it and wouldn't let me have it back unless I paid over the odds for it.
The moral of the story is never let the big black one go to Italians or you'll end up paying a ridiculous amount to get it back a few years later.

My thoughts are....
Every year a new phone comes out, with lots of extra features.
People buy them, and use them to do exactly the same things their old phone did - make calls, go on social media, browse the internet and take pictures

It's so stupid. They look good, but you don't buy your laptop or PC every year or two despite them being much cheaper and more powerful than a phone. The worst thing is that the manufacturers purposely make sure after a year it starts slowing down, and after two years it's useless. The apps don't help either by disregarding older versions after a few years.
Thinking of going back to flip phones to avoid this headache. Only thing is though the Google maps aren't on that, and that's the one thing smart phones are really good for.

Me and the missus up graded recently both on iPhones I took the 7 and the missus the 8.
Both did the same as our old phones so I flogged em to cex for about £600 quid paid the rent for the month and left a bit extra for a rainy day .
