I'd like to see Ozil start
Tough one. Without the ball you'd say it would be wise to drop him, however I'd imagine he could pick off cities defence very well if you play on the counter.
The Arsenal player I am worried about for tomorrow's game is Granit "The Hacker" Zhaka.
I just hope he does not do one of those trademark tackles on any of our players.
Sanchez offers protection in a pressing system. He's given up lately because none of our other players do it but IMO defending as a team in that way is what we should be doing.... instead I'm not sure there is any sort of prerehearsed system.
Could Be an option. But I’d worry we’d really struggle to create any chances without Ozil. City will press high meaning we might have space in behind, so need a player who can unleash a forward with clever pass. Also we a tenancy to give away easy passes all the time with most of our midfielders, Ozil is about only player now who can complete an easy pass in midfield.
However having said that, Ozil often goes missing in big games. So it’s a tough one. So long as all the other midfielders are on top of it defensively, we might cope with Ozil. Like We definitely can’t have Ramsey wondering up front to the 18 yard box when we’re defending and leaving Xhaka completely isolated. Could really do with cazorla in this game!!
Last night we beat a big team away from home was against City when Cazorla ran the show.
Wasn't there a story about how the players themselves that day decided to adopt those tactics?
Xhaka is the bigger defensive liability
He doesn't need to be dropped, just needs to be told to drop deeper to pick up the ball and help out more defensively. As a no10 he is often a passenger because we have an average midfield behind him.
I can't see Sanchez doing much tracking back either. When he first joined he did a lot of donkey work but I feel he just can't be asked anymore

He prefers to press and is very good at it but there's no point pressing if you're the only one doing it...
Is the trade off really worth it? People harp on about Chelsea away but they're not very good this season.
May aswell leave Ozil in on the off chance he produces a bit of quality.

I love how he is on the pitch when the teams line up and then as if by magic disappears so yes I think he should be the first name on the Arsenal team sheet.
So much stupid on here.If you clowns were in charge we would have 11 goalkeepers and just HOPE we scraped a draw!
We play to win, and you do NOT win if you play without creative players. Being terrified of the opposition gets you nowhere. Win 5-4 or lose 5-4, still better than becoming bus parking man u!

World class comment.
Tyke last 5 seasons after 10 games Man Utd had the 2nd best goal difference after 10 games only to Man City this season.

what if both fits at the same time. You'll see a world class game with a positive result
I've been hoping for that for about 7 years GT. Let's see if it happens today.
Kolasinac is out so looks like holding in defense

All depends on our defensive performance but if City is any vulnerable at the moment it's their back. So we have to attack if we want to win something. We can do it as we have shown against them in the FA cup semis.
Anyway....let's wait and see.

yeah he isnt in Manchester which means we have now widths on that side and no one who can make a cross.
I know Wenger being a totally inflexible caant won't do this, but it Kolasinac is out, we HAVE TO switch to a conventional back 4 and bolster our midfield. Bringing back Holden who has been facking sheite will be suicidal and we'll get a good humping.
Aparently Ozil has created the same number of chances as De Bruyne despite playing less games and apparently having an "awful" start to the season. The last time Man City lost a game in all competitions was against Arsenal in the FA Cup. Could lighting strike twice? I'm sure all of the neutrals would also love Arsenal to win in order to make the title race somewhat interesting and ensuring Man City don't just walk away with it.
