Morata is a classy player.
Reminds me a little of Torres in his Liverpool days.
Morata. Said it all summer long
Morata was clumsy today I thought. Hardly breath taking performance. Lukaku was abysmal.
I think pretty much everyone on the Utd board has now called Lukaku a flat track bully now.
Neither.
But lukaku is a better striker. That doesn’t say much for morata. He’s not that good.
Morata but if Lukaku scores next game and Morata doesn't then Lukaku.
Lukaku got little service all game, I actually think he would have scored more today than Morata with the chances Morata got.

Agreed. Chelsea were wasteful and nobody more than Morata. Should have had about 3 or 4.
morata apart from his goal was pretty anonymous
but i'd take him over lukaku, definetely
still think lukaku will score more goals over the season but morata will score more important goals
Morata is easily the better footballer. Easily.
But with decent service lukaku is very effective. Harsh to judge him based on the boring ones negative tactics.

Only Aguero has more goals than Lukaku in last 5 seasons. So he knows where the goal is.
He's a limited footballer though.
FFS I should really check the article already live first
Big performance by your guys. Gonna cause some consternation at United.
Salah is better than both and he plays wide, two average Joe's
Morata choked a couple of times, but I'll take that in exchange for his workrate and general feistiness. As I hadn't seen much of him before, I sure wish Jose landed him early on, I could see him doing a good job for our squad. Lukaku looked a bit shiftless today, to put it nicely. Going to SB always is a nightmare, maybe we should have played a cup squad to see if they might just steal a result today, our first selection hasn't fared well since the well before SAF retired.
We all know Morata is the better footballer, however you can't argue with Lukaku's scoring record.
Yeah, his first touch isn't great and he can't trap a bag of cement but at the end of the day what do you want your striker to do? Hit the bag of the net, that's what and he's shown he can do that!

Thats a good point.
You look at the cost of their squad, and the lack of quality in it, especially midfield, and you would have to assume they have been made to pay well over the odds for their players based on the name of their club, rather than the inherent value of those players.
