I was secretly annoyed at St Mirren scoring a late consolation as I had 2-0 on the predictor
St Mirren going through a slump right now but I expect them to come out of it. Draws with Falkirk and Morton then defeat to Utd just make the title race closer.
Utd now have the upper hand and are the form team right now so perhaps the international break (and Scottish cup ties) will break that momentum

2 points separating the top five teams in the Championship - tighter than a duck’s backside. Would say Utd could definitely do without the league break this weekend.
Guys
Would definitely prefer a league game at the weekend but at the same time it gives us a chance to rest the first team players. We ran out of steam last season and we can't afford to do that this season.
I'm really hopeful that the new manager gives us another boost and basically continues doing what Ellis has done. If we can put together a string of wins then hopefully we can pull away from the pack, all of which will continue to cut each others throats.
Ivan - I thoroughly enjoyed the match on Saturday. It was nice seeing a team coming and really having a go, it made for an entertaining match. I thought Fraser was really unlucky first half actually, should have had a goal but just got his footing wrong. Thought Flood’s workfare was outstanding, was also really impressed with the shift Stanton put in - doing a lot of the less glamorous stuff in the middle. The other thing is that suddenly the team is pinging the ball when they pass - gives the game a bit of zip and it’s much better to watch.
Was chatting to a friend of mine on Saturday who’s pal’s son plays in the first team. He was saying that part of McKinnon’s problem was that he was just too nice - never read the riot act or anything like that, everything was just too friendly. Guess that kind of showed when you think about it.
A welcome victory.
You don't get a rest though. You have a Challenge Cup game v Crusaders coming up next weekend then Falkirk at home the week after
St Mirren have a rest next week due to their game with Livi being off then they have an amateur mob in the Scottish cup the week after

I should have mentioned Flood in the OP. I thought he was finished but he was terrific at the weekend. I would have given him MOTM, although I didn't argue too much with Durnan getting it.
Call Sign - we play the kids and fringe players in the Challenge Cup. I'd imagine most of the first team players will get a few days off this week.
2 flukey goals and a disgraceful referee who clearly wanted united to pound his buttocks.
Typical of a Celtic fan to blame the referee
havent seen the goals, just assuming
550 words this week Ivan.
Good win that was. A must win game and you came through it.
Why would we want to change the manager when we've currently got the best one in our history?
Keep Ellis on, but never give him a full-time contract. The last time we had a caretaker manager it worked brilliantly - it only went tats up when we hired him full-time.
