And Hafi doesn't count.

I should always use that disclaimer.

Statistically he was doing what was required without performing particularly well but since the assists and goals have dried up then he offers very little.

Player's form and stats will fluctuate, earlier he was getting the stats where as now he is bang out of form, not really hard to understand.

I've never seen a Liverpool fan over hype one of their players ever

Vast majority were saying the stats were covering up his overall game..

But don't let that get in the way of your narrative

I wouldn't say he's quick. He's quite tricky and when operating in tight spaces he can send a striker through. Wasted at United.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not quick? His option of he failed at football was to become a sprinter as he is rapid mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe when running without the ball. He's not the type of player to knock it past and defender and run on to it, or even to break through and receive the ball. He's always coming inside and looking to pass it. I've never seen anything from him to suggest he's quick. Also I imagine the sprint records in Armenia are quite low compared to the rest of the world.

Bit of a generalisation, but most players need about half a season (often more) to adapt to whatever new league system they are introduced to. That is is why any new players that come to united should come from another premier league team. Mata, Valencia, Cantona, Fellaini, vdS, RVP, Matic etc., whereas the likes of veron, falcao, herrera and di maria were caught out like proverbial rabbits in headlights.

there are exceptions (both ways) but as a 'rule of thumb' it is a good indicator of success or failure.

don't like seeing players spend a season in the team in order to get themselves sorted out. Any team seeking sustained success - like united - should not be involved in that sort of progression. But in Mkhitaryan's case i think now we are involved with him this need to continue. After all, an extraordinarily enormous amount of time has been afforded to garbage like rafael and fabio before they dropped down several levels. And don't get me started on the complete waste of space that is herrera

To be fair, if you gave Miki the ball in the opposition's half, it might help.

Quick as in what? Usain Bolt quick or quick over 20 - 30 yards once he gets going?

Maybe you can blame the tactics and manager in some ways but they can’t be blamed for Mhki messing up simple passes and running straight into opposition players.

I’m not a huge fan of Ozil but if Mhki doesn’t improve and Ozil is available for cheap in January it definitely should be considered.

Indeed.

I have no idea why Jose bought him, to be honest. He doesn't [lay him where he will be most effective.

Surely Ozil will make you even slower and more boring.

You've already ruined Mata; Leave Ozil alone

Because he’s doing so well at Arsenal...

I wouldn’t say Ozil is slow. Lazy at times and goes missing but not slow.

He'd be thriving at City right now. He's that kind of player, does well when the gravy's warm. He's not going to work in the system we're playing, a real shame on many levels.

My comment was aimed at what a chump Zlat had made you look when he quoted your manager, so much so that you promptly ran away from the discussion.

It must be my ghost here after I died when an opinion was in opposition to mine. I'll continue to contact you from the afterlife and say that he may have been quick compared to players in the German league but he has never looked quick in the PL.

I wonder of Klopp still thinks he is quick having managed Mane and Salah? Perhaps you should ask him and if he agrees with me I may come back from the dead.

Klopp didn't know the meaning of quick until he joined Liverpool.
