Next time your kid's can't get a hospital appointment you know where to look (and it ain't at foreigners & the unemployed)

Very true!
Basically we are getting shafted by our own people who are rich
I’ve got an account in the Cayman Islands, and another one in Panama.
If it’s good enough for the Queen, it’s good enough for me.
I’d rather be immortal, though, you lucky barstard

Yes, absolutely.
Telling them you holiday in Jersey is a good way of letting them know you don’t have much money

They are legal, apparently our pension funds are kept off shore so we only pay tax at the end not all the way through,
If you were wealthy enough would you protect your wealth in the schemes set up by our government for people to legally do this. or give it to HMRC?
Joe Lewis certainly thinks it's a good idea ...he liked it that much he moved himself to a tax haven

There are two certainties in life - death and taxes.
I forget who that is attributed to, but I've never yet found it to be false.
The tax man's principle is that each of us pays according to his means.
But it turns out that there are an awful lot of Billionaires, and even more multi-national corporations, that pay no tax at all. Yes, we should all go open bank accounts in Jersey.
The upshot is that us poor bu* gg ers get to pay more to make up the difference.
And according to today's New York Times (Nov 7th) that difference is in the Trillions (with a T) of dollars per year.
Think yourself lucky if the tax man doesn't take it all and you find yourself working for nothing.
