But no, not in today's society, now if there's a mere hint of any racist/sexist remark etc and its of to the solicitors we trot, now we expect the big payout and the person in question to have their career torn to tatters

I doubt it's the game that she's attracted to, more so the money she can make out of the whole affair
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cynical reactions like this all over this thread are exactly the reason many victims of all sorts of abuse and harassment do not come forward.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From what I've read about it, it wasn't incredibly racist, it was offensive, and he's paid the price. She's somewhat overacted and seems to be milking if a bit now- perhaps with good intentions, perhaps with selfish ones.

And from everything I've read, her issue wasn't just about the coach, but the treatment by many in the football establishment. She also has a clear grouse with many who showed no support for her. I can imagine why that might make one bitter and resentful.

Real shame that it's got to this stage, but that's today's society with its sense of entitlement for you, someone should lose their livelihood because he said a stupid thing
Years ago this could have been settled with an apology, not in this day and age, far too many namby pamby liberals have to get involved and take it to the extreme

I've voted labour all my life so I don't know what you're rattling on about here
And actually if you're going to use quotes from the 70's, get it right
It was "vote liberal or labour"
She’s well within her rights to be upset and angry about the whole affair.
Sampson:
Made these childish/ridiculous/stereotypical comments towards her based on her skin colour or background. Did he do the same to others though? Did he allude to any of them who live or were born in Essex that they’re some TOWIE slaaaags? Did he make any comments to any of them making them out to be some white council trash? If not, why not?
The FA:
Were clearly far more concerned about the tournament than the actual allegations instead and paid her £80k to keep quiet until their more important issues had subsided. Then they hold some flimsy ‘investigation’ where a key witness is the mediator
Disgrace.
“Could this happen in the men's game.?“
No it couldn’t. The FA haven’t got that sort of money to fork out to silence a male international.
For arguments sake, let’s just pretend that £80k was 18 months salary for her, you honestly believe the FA would stump up about £10m or whatever if Sterling was in the same boat?
Everyone is entitled to defend themselves so good on her!

1) That was not why he lost his job.
2) This horsesheite would make sense if he made an apology and she turned it down to go crying out. Instead, he made her out to be a liar, froze her out of the team (despite her clearing meriting a place as top scorer in the league) and the FA further victimized her and then she had to deal with tons of cynics like you as well.
So if any player doesn't make the England team from now on despite being top scorer then they have genuine cause for complaint and shouldn't take it lying down then?
