And I thought my 2k to 35k was good
I wish I’d put £5k into Doge six months ago. Would be worth about £500 now !

Someone I know said they will only sell DOGE when it hits $2. That’s ridiculous right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
$200bn market cap, no, it isn't ridiculous.

I don't fully understand this market cap. What is the maximum value that it could go to ? Is it just the market cap divided by the number of coins in circulation?
Yeah its just coins in circulation x value of coin
Its not a true reflection of value obviously

The lad I know that made over 200k said that some weeks he didn't do a food shop so that he could stick everything into crypto.
But that’s not really saying a lot though. It mitigates all the other variables. Doge jumping to $2 would mean a ridiculous amount of investment and the whales not pulling out anytime soon. It’s quite a significant risk to set sites that high I think.

So the value of a coin can never go above a certain amount?
Random guys online have set up coins from the go with like 5m market caps lol
Even if they went up a few times in market cap theyd not be able to obtain that value cause a massive dump of coins would crash the price
Maximum value will be nothing like BTC, purely due to the number of coins in circulation, they also release a limited amount annually (which the creator has hinted at reducing).
The ultimate aim is to become a currency. BTC struggles in that regard due to the finite nature of the coin. So some say Doge is actually a better option long term, meme or not.
What can it go to? My maths isn't that good. But so long as people keep buying, holding and more brokers exchange/ more companies accept it as payment, it could really rocket BTC style, into the $100s.
*It could also tank back to .01 if the whales sell and stop losses hit.

Nah we just know the coin totals and the amounts the coins are being traded for on exchanges
A fair few coins have limits on how many there can be, but not value

People said that about BTC at £5k though, crypto isn't a traditional investment. Nobody knows where it's heading.
My doge is now up 53% from yesterday morning.
I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm excited.
If it breaks .6, where there is now some resistance, it could well hit 100% increase within a couple of days.

But why use the exception as the rule? I don’t have an issue with anyone holding as it’s their money and fair play if they do anything with it - but it’s a ridiculous gamble. To put $500 that they don’t really have on something that has shot up 10x in less than a month and aim to hold it until it another 4x just seems ridiculous - hence the word.
As I said before it would be like me putting $500 I don’t really have on Chelsea to win the CL
If you use a platform like Binance then set a limit.
eg: If you bought Doge at 0.40c set a sell limit at say 0.50c in case it plummets overnight.
That way you've still made 20% on your investment but if the price keeps going up, just set a higher sell limit.
Works for me.
how do i set binance limits?
Confuses the crap outta me this app
