How do you short against Tether? The only way I know how to do it is on FTX and I assume that whole site will go bust if Tether goes bust with it.

Kraken, take a 2x 3x leverage and execute a sale order. It costs 0.02 percent rollover cost every 4 hours. Which is a slight pain holding the position open. I'f had time I'd code it to trigger and place on a nominal buy order filling at 95 cents instead of leaving the short open. If I buy at 95 on tether I can assume depeg.

With balls of steel you could increase the short as it collapses, which is what Soros done when he screwed the pound when it had to pull from EMS. But you could end out screwed if it repegged or DCB and you didn't have margin to keep position open.

You just have to be careful on whose liability the short impacts. I had a €400,000 leverage short exposure against Euro during greek crisis. Plus 500 froze my account and wouldn't let me close out when I was five figures in the black, as they were the ones having to shell out.

I have learned my lessons when I lost all my mined coins with the mt gox hack in 2014. Bought in the bear market in 2018 and gone to sleep until it reached 69k and sold everything. Bought nothing since then.
I will do the same again when it dips much more and will start doing dca until the bottom is reached.

If Bircoin hits around 12,184 this week and bounces and holds that level, it will have completed a classic Eliott Wave ABC correction. Certainly worth watching that level as a buying opportunity. Needs to get back above 20,000 to avert evnrually hirring toward 12,000..

It is diifcult to find the balls to buy Bitcoin, but i am gonna give it a try at that 12,250 level if it gets there, with a stop loss below 10,000. Very small position mind, you don't need to go big with this monster, it will wipe you out if you do.
