coinbase does i swear
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coinbase isn't an exchange
ok, was concentrating more on the lets you deposit and withdraw.
You could always do that then move your BTC from coinbase to an exchange no?
Sure... just don't think that was what he was asking
I'm just researching a Japanese exchange that has been licensed in Europe... so this might be the answer. At least while we are in the EU

did you upload passport photo/ other ID for coinbase? that fked up and it took them 4 days to tell me they could verify. did it again with my drivers license and it worked straight away
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh yeah did all that a while back although that took many attempts before it was eventually accepted with my passport.
Superb verify through Revolut, download app and sign up and do it through them
Note that with revolut, you cannot move your crypto. So no moving it to an offline wallet or to an exchange to buy different crypto.
If they go bust, your coins go bust too.
But... If you are happy to stick with the main cryptos and value ease of use over security, it does seem interesting.
Oscar trying to lose people money!
Ok will look into Revolut then
You can withdraw your money from Revolut, which is more than you can do anywhere else by the sound of it.
And you can deposit/withdraw with any of them can’t you Ji? Like you can buy for say £200, sell for £400 get ur money back in ur bank or use revolut mastercard to withdraw etc then just deposit on a diff site with different coins etc and same process?
Yea, which begs the question what the point is?
If I could deposit bitcoin into it and spend it via their card, I'd be all over it.
For now, I may as well just withdraw from coinbase to my bank account and spend from there.
If you are struggling with coinbase though, and don;t want any other crypto than the main ones... Revolut could be a good idea. Shame you have to pay £6.99 a month for crypto though
True, it’s just more of a safety net i guess, no chance of bank problems or withdrawal problems, and its a bit cheaper if you withdraw from revolut to your bank instead of their card.
All i’ve read/heard about coinbase the majoity view has been people with no issues depositing but so many issues verifying paying like £10 everytime and still not heing able to withdraw then all the problems with banks in general. Just seems proper sketchy
