Your a lot of a GOOSE on the quiet Walt

Massive flights... crossing multiple time zones ain't Like your little jaunts to Euro holidays.
jet lag is a real serious problem, He did the International date line TWICE ! and was back in the UK meaning the flight schedule had been completed in 8 days...
No amount of money compensates mental & physical disruption on that scale.

Mooy not knowing whether he's Arthur or Martha ! You'd know all about that

Top cap off...
If he does play, absolute from me,
A monumental effort on his part if he's up to it.

You're ASSUMING I don't like the guy because I don't have the same opinion of him as a player that you do.
TOUGH.

I don't mind any one who pulls on the WHITE & BLUE stripes and plays for TOWN, But I will discuss/debate any aspect of Play, selection, tactics etc etc ..

Darn.....i drive around for 11 hours a day...dont eat then come home and go for sn hours run every day...then still have the energy to see to the missus.....i may go to sleep at 9.30 or maybe 1am...does it fook my energy levels up?...does it chuff!....he,s a professional athlete and its 8 hours time difference

You stick with it Walt
Swapping between time zones AND hemisphere's is nothing like working many hours within the same environment each & every day,
I tried to put forth a balanced forthright argument for giving the guy a break...deserved imo,..
And without question 'primed' locked & loaded ready for the 'City' fixture.
Unfortunately, It looks like we'll have to agree to disagree on this one

Just a little side issue, Sydney is 10 hours ahead of You lot, (Perth 8).. Honduras is a full 16 hours behind Sydney..but because they flew East & crossed the Date line... found themselves in Honduras on the same day BEFORE they took off from Sydney !?!?!?
Of course it all goes back & they 'lose' the day coming back to OZ for the 2nd leg....
Please consider, Mooy especially coming from a cold British climate will have felt the heat of Sydney upon arrival, only a few days later another huge Humid (Strength sapping) change in the Honduran climate. being a professional athlete will no doubt have helped them, But unlike Athletic events (etc) Little time to acclimatize before they are on their way again.
Then the return to the UK & the cold.
Hope that helps you to appreciate where I'm coming from a little more....

Not related, But I can confirm, I'm usually fine & suffer no bother at all coming back to Europe...
But suffer terribly coming back this way darn unda ?
I even did the 'business' class thing once, And it made no difference whatso ever.

Back to the game.
Is Howe going to put out Afobe & Defoe as mentioned by the Examiner ? If ture, They'll take some stopping.
I still think my preference of the front three I mentioned earlier is a chance for us to out gun them.
They'll score (Bourenmouth). But I reckon we could too with that line up.

I'm averaging 55 hours a week, 6.5 hours of kip a night, and I'm mentally and physically fooked. Mr Mooy, I'd swap jobs any day

I'll have to weigh in here. I've done the long, long haul and I have had mixed experiences. Lads, it's affect the mind and body in very strange ways. Sometimes you can be fine and just 'click' in to the time zone and have no affects. Sometimes you sleep, sleep and sleep, even when you're awake, you're asleep. Sometimes you don't sleep, or you do...for about an hour, then you're awake all day and night. Your mind doesn't function properly, you don't concentration well. Not the sort of preparation you need for a professional game of football.

Most definitely I'd not select Mooy for this match. By the way, he'd have been celebrating with the Socceroos too, does he consume alcohol? Make sure he's up and about for the Man City match, see how he performs then!

Right, I'm off for a while, the Spurs match is on.

Don't think he consumes alcohol lv, he comes across as a right misery arse.

Come on spurs btw

We'd ALL swap with Aaron Hydy
I'd personally do the task on 25% of his contract & still be satisfied.

Trouble is....
none of us are up to it .

Just as a comparo' !
And lets take Mounie Any player doing a two game stint in West Africa is a different kettle of fish,
The 8 hour flight is nothing in itself, And in the same time zone as the UK.
Your belly - eating times, & sleep patterns unaffected.

The point being,
Apart from Mooy competing in two 'cup type finals'...
as opposed to friendlies. Not all players who have contested international games have either been under the same 'pressure' or physical & mental demand.
and completed no where near the disruptive travel arrangements undertaken by our man Mooy.

I've got the drift mind...
Most of you'd play him. fair enough.
Surely he'd not be able to perform to his best though.
It's been a 'break' for most of the squad, lounging by the pool in a warm climate at the foreign training camp.. Lovely
Hardly the same scenario for our No10.

1-0

I wouldn't play him tbh, just struggling to think who could play in the middle.

Williams and Hogg, who on the bench to take over? Whitehead

2-0

Cracking first half at the Emirates! Dodgy free kick and Mustafi being offside, both decisions gifted the Gunners the lead by a single goal.

Time for 'Arry to dish out some pain!

Whoops, I'd forgotten Sanchez got a second for Arsenal, 2-0 down at half time.

The BEEB are slow getting the starting line ups printed Hydy,
You'll probably post it as I'm on my way to LV's.

My preference,
Hogg, Williams, Ince across the middle,
With the unorthodox combo of VLP, Depoitre & Mounie on a staggered formation up front.

Whitehead, he could do a job for us if used towards the back end of the game
I assume Billing is still jiggered.

OK. I'm off, probably put my post game opinions up in a few hours.
praying for a win today.
I just hope we play with Intent.

Hogg's wife had a baby last night.

Hogg's no professional then! Wife has a baby and he can't play? What is wrong with folk?

Spurs lost, they didn't play very well in the second half, but neither did Arsenal.

Malone has to prove himself today, I'm not impressed. Hopefull, Flo can get forward and cause issues.

Let's win it for Hogg... Get at them straight away
