Nothing, he was there.

Did you not see him in the first half, was the dude waving yellow cards about at ONE team

Luckily he wasn't running the line

It just goes to show that when Arsene kicked off after the City reffing debacle, it had the effect putting the quality of reffing of Arsenal matches under the spot light.

He tried his best with the 'foul' against Ozil and all the yellow cards but our game plan didn't give him much chance to influence the match

I thought Spurs came out of that game a few yellows light myself. For me, something is up if you have a derby game where 3 players are booked in on half and they're all on one team.

The nature of derby matches means if the climate of tackles is enough for 3 players to be booked on one side in one half, there's got to have been at least one booking on the other.

Derby matches are straight tut for tat rivalry. If one side is tackling like that, so is the other. Not going to fuss about it because we won. But Mike Dean is still the same as ever.

I must have missed that, when was it? DO you mean the foul given against Ozil, in which case it was a probable goal or clear goal chance imo.

To all the idiots who were laughing at that petition against Dean, here is the result. Unlike Oliver there is too much focus on him for him to cheat so he has to give a fair performance

Yes, surely with the defender and gk already out of the way and the player in front of the goal line it should be counted as clear as it could be.

Farewell
And that is that from the north London derby.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino tells Sky Sports: "It was an even game in terms of shots on target, off target, possession. I am only disappointed because the effort was massive from the team. It is obvious you saw what happened in the game and the small details were against us, it makes it difficult to win. I am very proud with the effort.

"I do not need to say anything, it was obvious for everyone here and watching at home. It is not easy to accept because we lost the game but we have to more on and keep going.

"The free-kick for the first goal and the first goal was obvious offside, maybe the second was too. When you play against a team in the top-six, the big details are up to you, sometimes things go against you but that is football. Against Swansea, it was the same Mike Dean too.

"Granit Xhaka should have had a second yellow card, sometimes you feel disappointed and frustrated because the small details change a lot.

"Harry Kane and Dele Alli were OK to play but with 15 minutes to go, it was not necessary to take risks. We had few chances to score in the end.

"I made a technical decision on Danny Rose, after months out they need to get back up to fitness. The situation is not an issue."

He did his best to help the team in white, every 50/50 he gave to them.

I missed a few minutes and just wanted to check I hadnt missed a big incident.

I thought Laca should have had a penalty as well. Was pulled back by the shoulder and a leg across in front of him by Sanchez.

Except it doesnt. After so many performances from him where he has cost us games and today the extremely soft foul given against Ozil, the penalty not given for Laca, harsh yellow cards like the one against Mustafi, you not getting yellows, etc and I think there is still a case. With video refs getting it right it could have been 4 0 today.

Still, he was better than normal while under the spotlight and couldnt deny us any morw probable goals without there being more questions asked.

Maybe. Wasn't sure about that. The incident I'm talking about happened around 6th minute you can look it up on arsenalist.com.

It was the camera in the goal that showed it. Sanchez pulled Laca back and thrn put a leg across in front of him to trip him and block him reaching the ball. deliberate foul that stopped him scoring.
