Ive given the guy a lot of credit in the last few seasons and always defended him here.
no you haven't why lie? You went AWOL from this site for a good few years for wanting Poch out from the first minute he stepped into the job.

Nope. A lie. I've been behind him fully since an uninspired start where he barely did better than Sherwood in the first few months. Not important to this point though.

If Pochs plays a weakened side tonight, who get beat, will be such a poor strategic decision imo.
--------------------
And if he plays a full strength team and you lose Kane and Vert to long term injuries it will be a poor decision. You have qualified, momentum in the CL at least won't be taken from the group games here in to the knock out stages in Feb or March, whenever they are. If they were next month, you may have a point. As usual though, you don't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't not play players on the basis they might be injured. If Kane is unfit, that's a different matter. Only the club know what his injury status is.

As a gooner said to me yesterday, European cup runs are based on momentum. You can't sack off a game like Dortmund because mathematically you can, and keep that momentum going.
Surely the 12 week gap between the final group stage game and first knock out game doesn't help this theory regarding momentum much
OP
Blimey mate, you will get crucified for even suggesting Spurs play a full strength side in cup matches.
I agree.
With no major title since 1991, have to go all-out to try and end that winless streak.
I agree full strength please. Would be naive to do otherwise. We are showcasing ‘the brand’ in the ECL before before we KO in our shiny new stadium.

Wot for? Pulling pints at your local boozer?
Pick the team to suit the game.
If we draw Rochdale at home in the 3rd round of the fa cup we don’t need to play a full strength team off the back of the busy Xmas period !
