Agreed

Pretty disgusting tbf that he got charged and Richarlison got away with his
We have a couple who need to be careful with Young and Rashford
Delle Ali could get about 10 game ban a season

He should appeal, there is slight contact.

There was definite contact albeit slight,on that alone he should get away with it.If he dosn't then that would set a dangerous precedent

The article states that all on the panel have to agree or it won’t be punished.
There is contact, he doesn’t lean into player, but with the luck Everton have had this season I expect him to be deported.

What's brought this about?

Cheating, to give it its real name has been going on for years now, why the hard line all of a sudden?

Ridiculous decision by the referee to award that penalty. My wife lost her bet because of it too.

However there have been dives before this that have went unpunished so why is Niasse first?

Also does this no contradict the if the referee saw it the FA can't do anything excuse that they often trot out?

It’s a contact sport.

Contact doesn’t equal foul.

He went down like a sack of potatoes and the ref fell for it, and has rightly been charged.

Richarlison arguably should have been as well but they obviously thought the contact was greater in that instance.

Remember this will only happen when a ref falls for the dive, before people start going on about every incident moaning why haven’t they been charged.

Time to get the t shirts out

Tbh, if Niasse is being charged for that (and I think he's clealy just thrown himself down after slight contact), then surely there should be several players being banned after every game now?

posted on 21/11/17

Just looking at the footage, the ref blows his whistle straight away before any appeals by players, who is to say Niasse would have appealed for the pen and only went down due to the contact made.

A Niasse t shirt...good idea
Or maybe a Niasse mask, like the Cantona ones you all wore to celebrate his GBH?

While I think it’s the right decision, others have gotten away with as bad if not worse this season.

When?

What other penalties have been given from players fooling a ref?

Richarlison vs Arsenal

Niasse is given a 2 game ban after being found guilty of diving.

Ridiculous decision.

Not because it's particularly wrong, but why him and why now? There have been plenty of incidents so far that have been dismissed or ignored completely. Why not punish the other incidents?

And the incident that he has been done for is something that occurs umpteen times in a game, with no recriminations.
