Haz sometimes doesn't use the players round him...other than that he's been supreme

Yes Hazard is by a distance the best player in Chelsea's toward line, but that doesn't mean we don't have players who are capable of some serious offensive production.

When your setup takes players like Pedro/Fabregas/Willian out of contention, we really can't complain about the failure of the rest of team to contribute to attacking play. Same thing happened with Manchester City and it is really not acceptable how much respect we're showing our rivals. Conte needs to take the handbrake off and let the team play.

Hazard is ons hell of a player. World class player. Chelsea are lucky to have him. People criticise Mourinho for letting KDB and Salah go but if you have to chose between those three at that time you will agree with Mourinho.

I'd say we also relied on Azpilicueta tonight. It was clear without Kante that without him the team loses a lot of mojo

Hazard was good for 60nins today. Azpi brilliant for 90mins. Kante good tackling but very poor on the ball.

The idea that we are a one man team is hard to agree with when we have players of the class of Kante and Azpilacueta.................where would we have been without those two today?

I think that Drinkwater was good for Chelsea and Conte is missing a trick by not playing Pedro from the start in matches.

He is our best player no two ways about it, but I couldn't imagine the team crumbling without him if others stepped up. Kante & Azpilicueta are more important players, we've seen how a lack of Kante grossly unbalances the midfield and likewise with Azpil when Conte experienced with him at WB - the 3 CB's looked anything but secure.

I couldn't imagine us doing a Liverpool post-Suarez or Spurs post-Bale if he moved. They were one man teams, we're not.

If we've relied on anyone over the last few years it's Dave - irreplaceable!

Yeah fair comment, I guess I worded it badly. Kante and Azpi are incredible and completely carry the side defensively but going forward we seem so devoid of ideas outside of Hazard. I think the biggest issue is the 3-5-2 formation - especially when Fabregas isn't in the side.

Hazard has a habit of late of not making the right pass when the opportunity presents itself...two or three times yesterday he turned back into a pool player other than lay off a ten yard pass

AC better offensively but defensively hard to call Biggish.

Cole was better known for his attacking play but he also matured into a fine defender as well, probably as good as Dave!

It is shame we never saw Dave up against Ronaldo in his prime. Ashley is the only defender I have seen handle Ronaldo so brilliantly,

I love Azpi and as a versatile defender I think he is better than Cole....but i would say Cole is/was the better full back.
