Trippier always plays great against Watford
You can't even blame Wembley for that one. Absolutely shocking performance. There was no rhythm at all, and players who should know better kept making poor decision after poor decision, in a game that I thought was going to suit us.
I agree that the constant changes probably aren't helping. The more you stick with the same players the more they can build a rapport and understanding with one another, particularly when it comes to the defence.
The struggles of successfully negotiating the CL group stage while trying to maintain a PL campaign.
We have to make changes otherwise you end up with how Dier & Eriksen are playing.
Totally wiped out from playing everything for club & country
Eriksen needs a rest (looks mentally exhausted). Start Alli instead and Dier for Winks (need physical presence v Watford)....rest as the OP selection.
Rotating for rotatings sake , then you say drop Dele !!!!!!

Yes because I said he's been poor, hence dropping him wouldn't be rotating for the sake of it
Lamela looked really classy in those fifteen or so minutes. Better than anyone else on the pitch. Great to have him back.
I don`t want the team tinkered with any more. The only change for Saturday should be perhaps Lamela for Sissoko. Otherwise leave well alone. The defence absolutely needs to become settled.
Anymore rotation of the full backs and I will seriously explode.
Put's the Real Madrid and Dortmund wins into perspective. Both those teams have been poor. Maybe spurs got sucked into the media hype
Constant mixing and matching of midfields isn’t helping at all.
Dembele and Sissoko
Winks and Dier
Winks, Eriksen and Sissoko
Winks, Eriksen and Dele
No continuity in there whatsoever and the wrong formations for the wrong games. Found the formation for the Madrid game but has seemingly forgot that it doesn’t need to apply to the smaller games.
Rose, Walker, Dembele, Wanyama and Alderweirald all missing from the Spurs team. That's gonna have a big effect on results and performances.
Even that Real Madrid game Spurs allowed bucket load of chances in reality but because Real Madrid kept not scoring it papered over the cracks.

Wouldn't go that far . There has been too much faffing about on and off the pitch- everything seems out of sync. Also Danny Rose moaning is depressing me never mind the rest of the camp. Poch needs to have a word.
Poch really is becoming the new tinkerman.

I never saw a bucketload of chances. Care to elaborate. Spurs more than matched them in Madrid, and outclassed them at Wembley.
Real Madrid had 19 shots 10 on target as the away side to Spurs 11 shots 7 on target. Quite a few key moments went for you that night.
A number of shots does not win you games last time I checked. Spurs had 19 tonight and Leicester without checking 7 or 8? We scored 2 Spurs 1. Thats all that matters.
Long and short term injuries to key players, loss of form from certain players and a profligacy in front of goal added to some selection errors in a few games and overly delayed substitutions when required are some of the reasons why we are currently struggling. Oh and Wembley too.
Managers and players have all contributed to the malaise we are experiencing. Just have to pick ourselves up and put the effort in and hopefully we can recapture our mojo. There does seem to be a bit of despondency and frustration within the camp at the moment though.
Part and parcel of football. Especially at Spurs.
We need to stop this 3 at the back until Toby is fit. I’d go with a 4-4-1-1 , this 3 at the back is being exposed by a simple hoof over the top , for some reason we can’t seem to defend simple balls.
What worries me a little more was how easily Sánchez was knocked about by that ugly cuuunt James Vardy , as well as Dier,s positioning last night.
Lloris
Trippier
Verts
Sanchez
Rose
Dier
Mousa or Dele
Lamela
Son
Eriksen
Kane
