Morning black Starr, I have you lot in my acca so I hope not.
Benteke’s confidence will be shot after last week, given wot happened I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench.
3-1

Got a good feeling we will win today. This lot haven't managed an away league goal yet, I think it may be a tighter game than most expect though. Probably back to full strength as well but you never know with Claude. 2-0 City.

I already predict our defeat is down to Gray and his selfish sulky attitude isolating Vardy.

Going for a 2-2. Might sound mad given current form but just got a feeling Palace are turning the corner and if anyone is going to give them an away goal.......

Morning Pranks! To be honest going on form we should comfortably win

Might as well get it out there early Mersey! Personally I think it's DeLaets fault

I have Leicester in an accumulator as well. I also have Everton to beat Swansea in a couple as well.

Palace got lucky against Watford and don't do Away goals. 0-0 is 10s...

Even during bad patches over recent years it’s rare that we don’t score at home.

I think this would have been a much more difficult game if we hadn’t begun to see success in ball retention and in general, possession. As such, we have an initial tactic to rely on if Palace sit back and try to hit us on the break. Eventually, I would expect them to tire and for us to get chances.

Don’t really mind if Puel brings Gray back in as we will have options with the fantastic form of Okazaki (whether starting or from the bench) - his relationship and work ethic with with Vardy was brilliant in the week though. Though Albrighton was great prior to being tested....what this tells us is that we genuinely have some quality in depth and definitely form in depth.

I have an inkling about a penalty today and think Bardy is due some goals so have put a few quid on Vardy hat trick as a punt

Being a LCFC come with its price and that is we always think we are going to loss when the God's say they are on good form,Benny can't score Shlupp might get a goal (coughs)
Roy will get them organised but the Revolution that has caused us to become a passing team with so many oprtions going forward not just the ball over the top to Vardy. By the way Vardy's a much better ball player than he is given credit for. Just to top it off we have only not scored in one of last fifteen games so 0v0 then

I hope we will win today against a side that has only scored one away goal this season and that was in a 4-1 drubbing at Bristol City to dump them out of the EFL cup.

Can we extend their barren period in the league to 11 away matches (last goals scored in a 2-1 win at Anfield on 23 April)? Possibly of course, but we have the leakiest defence at set pieces so maybe not - looks made for Benteke to come good. Let's all pray that we can score a few, maybe Mahrez will continue putting himself in the shop window?

Hodgson is managing to turn things around, Palace always looked like a surprising team to be anchoring the league with some quality players in their squad, although an injury to Zaha wouldn't have helped. Clearly however poor he was as a national or 'top club' manager, Roy is pretty effective at clubs with the right fit for him. Looking at the earlier fixtures which included home losses to Huddersfield, Swansea and Southampton, another 4 or 5 points from those could have seen them at the heady heights of 11th, so I reckon you are spot on to be concerned BS, in this instance I think the table is somewhat guilty of telling porkies. I don't expect them to be in the bottom 3 come May.

One thing I do not agree with BS is your unnecessary swipe at Kingy supporters such as myself and Dunge - clearly as part of the side who thrashed Southampton away he now deserves to be given a chance in the team at the expense of Iborra - you are being proved right about Gray once he was given an extended run so the same logic must therefore apply to our rising star of centre midfield.

Morning chaps

We certainly could've had a few more points than we have atm, nudging us up a couple of places in the table, but i can't see us getting anything out of todays game tbh.

2-0

It's not a swipe at King supporters Nuneaton it's a swipe at instant criticism of rotation if we lose and starting line ups etc

In terms of king the same logic as Gray doesn't really apply. King has been here for over 10 years - we know everything about him. He doesn't need an extended run to prove himself - we know his limitations and his strengths. Gray had never been given that chance really so it was important to get games under his belt - successive games as king had at his age.

Too slow in the build up - Iborra slowing the game down to walking pace at times.

So predictable. We can never deal with physical sides who defend deep and hit us on the break - been the same since the title win.

Same against West Brom, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, West Ham etc

Totally unexpected and i don't expect it to last tbh.
Not sure what's up with you guys but i reckon the 2nd half will be a friggin' onslaught!

posted on 16/12/17

Shocking first half, seem well of the pace and cannot keep the ball.

Wouldn't worry yourself it's completely expected as far as I'm concerned

We can't break teams down who are structured and physically strong and we don't defend well at all. What we have is pace and quality in attack but if you nullify that then you have won the battle

We will be better second half but it will make little difference, it's been like that for 2 years.
