It seems an age since I saw him at Swindon the game he picked up his injury.
Obviously a talented player but this transfer has been a farce even by our standards!
Would have been better with any of him, Passaic, Chalobah over 35m Drinkwater
I can score in the Dutch league, that said he gotta be better than Baka the way heis playing today and receny
I think the real question is, would he want to come back? He seems happy where he is - I can't see him choosing to return now, although I agree a free scoring central midfield player would be excellent.

As recently as November he stated how much he'd like to return to Chelsea and be given a second chance:

I hadn't read that, Superb. That's interesting - good for him if he is still ambitious. I hope Conte is listening in that case.
Would AC consider bringing him back in the Jan window..?
Unsure what his loan deal was....or what we are planning in the market...the Dutch league ain't the prem though...
Peds and willy need to step up really
Sheriff not sure if we'd be able to bring back Van Ginkel in Jan. Normally with these yearly loan deals you can't do that as far as I'm aware. Would have to be in the summer.
Plus presumably he'd be more of a threat to Bakayoko or Fabregas as a central midfield player, rather than either Pedro or Willian.
Yeah he'd definitely be a threat to either Fabregas and Bakayoko
