And after that ridiculous interruption ,
BACK TO THE CRICKET
Walt.
I said it at the time, and say it again. Arfield was always capable, The managers of the time had no idea how to utilize him.
He's done really well at Burnley,
Helped 'em to promotion. Stuck with 'em after relegation. Was prominent upon their return (As Champs ) And is a vital contributor now during this amazing run of good form they are having.
Quaner too... You bagged him early on. I said he'd come 'good'. he has. Good to see you appreciate his tireless contributions. He's a real 'Dennis' down that flank, There is no substitute for pace.
Agree with the thread content, VLP & Himself have to be more aware of what's transpiring around them & get that early ball in.
I've called for the 'Quality' centre back for some time now, But agree with Hydy. I don't think anyone of any substance will be brought in. We've been lead darn the garden path in this situation before. Suggestions of a big spend, Vital positions would be reinforced etc, only for nothing to happen.
Lets hope I'm very much wrong on that one, As that back line is compromised.
So Wagner does read Darn's comments after all ?????
A couple of threads ago, Who was it who suggested leaving three players up on the half way line when we defend corners
And spreading out the across the full field width when Lossl takes dead ball kicks.
I might pop out while rain stops play .....
Now. Where is that Barn door key,
5 Balm(y) Army cakes from me Wethers,
Another rousing home performance, fingers crossed for a slender win. And Ginger Gravel Grunt left speechless, I like the fella and think he has done exceptionally well, But hopefully our '12th man' will collectively work out hands stay warmer actually ing.... And ditch those embarrassing articles distrubuted by 'HTFC-inc'.
And cheer the TOWN onto another home victory.
Set 'em alight the Blue & White.

Not enough rest time! Lazy beggars! Löewe, time to wake up, back to reality or back to Germany for you!
He,s not good enough for the prem anyroad..but a good solid championship defender....he looks like a fish outa water this season....but what do i know..as darn has already pointed out we flamed big Col and look at him now...plenty of assists and causes tons of problems down that right hand side and will get better the more he plays....its nice to be wrong sometimes
Good read Wetherby, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.
I think tomorrow’s game will be one of the hardest of the season but we need to go into it without fear and have a go. Burnley are flying this season but we held them at their place, and to be honest, I would be happy with a draw.
I like Löwe and prefer him to Malone, I know he’s struggled a bit at times but so have a lot of the team. I really think that we are starting to grow into a solid Premier team. In fact I said as much on Boxing Day to my long suffering son 😊
Although, as said above, I would take a draw I’m going for my usual 2-1 win with Depoitre and Mounie to score. Optimistic or what? 😂
Löwe was at fault for their goal on boxing day. It's not about "the legs" it about concentrating and not ball watching!
The 'Compromised' back line is darn to the central weak link. This then places Schindler in a dilemma, Because he too then gets 'pulled' out of position/task in hand.
Of course Lowe then doesn't know if he's coming or going either. At that point you have to be an exceptional player to cope in those situations in the Premier league. Back to 'pace'. Lowe is also short on this requirement when called upon.
Back to the 'QUALITY' central defender,
Someone of supreme confidence, (A big head if you prefer) Who holds the line, Doesn't get tempted and pulled out of position. And can do the tidy clearance that Depoitre is doing from defending the corners at the moment. This of course then leaves our collective all time favourite 'No20' to remain in his natural position up field, and nullify opponents big defenders coming into our box....leaving him unmarked waiting to counter attack. (They'd leave at least two back to cover him.
So is that sorted then ?
Are you reading Mr Wagner !
A superb, quality central defender in January.
It will cost plenty, and hurt the finances. But I honestly believe this team is within a whisker of being a very competent respected side within the best of the rest... we are that close.
Mark lawrenson has tipped us to win for the first time!
Darts anyone??
I hate that weasel van gerwen....The power will sort him out

Barney shuda won!...he missed ont doubles in the first 3 sets
Why do you want Gary Anderson Wetherby?
Taylors an absolute Legend!...to be at the top for 20 odd years is phenomenol....messi ronaldo and maradonna rolled into one
He's a Cocky get though.Tom Clarke just got motm against Cardiff.
Eye he is...but i think he,s earned the right to be....his mentor eric bristow was a right cocky so and so
I dont think he will win it...he cant score as high as he used to but finishes second to none still...van gerwen will probably win it imo
I want him now cos he's so Cocky! Lv won't be happy about this, talking about cricket and darts!
Anderson has the best chance of beating Gerwen... Taylor doesn't stand a chance anymore.... 4 sets to 3 now...
