Thank you Admin
Admin, can you and your No. 2 vote for you JA606DCFCPOtY 2017 when appropriate please?
No snow in E Anglia, so making the shortish trip down the A140. A good record there recently, so hoping for more of the same, please.
Last chance for all you aspiring PotYs to make an impression. Look out for Watters coming up on the rails and nicking points !
Earning points Ang. Earning points. You are no doubt unintentionally typecasting Scouse perhaps?
Going to be at work for the duration of tomorrow’s match, which I hate. Not much chance of contributing to the thread but will certainly be keeping a close eye on it so thanks in advance for the updates and a heartfelt plea to be clear with any announcements of goals, for example which team has actually scored.
Good point, well-made, Vidal
Mentioning no names in particular, obviously.
You didn’t give us any topics to discuss. IE Forsyth’s new contract.
I’m pesonally surprised and disappointed with this...
Or this GENUINE Tweet from Trump:
In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!

I think that was deliberate, Baz, to save you any angst
Well I’m pleased about Forsyth, I think he is unfairly maligned. If he were a weak link we would have conceded far more than we have. Sure his final ball is sometimes lacking but he is a very solid performer. As with Baird previously and with others, good old unspectacular reliability is under-appreciated.
I challenge anybody to under-appreciate Trump though. I don’t believe that such a thing is possible.
I wish the lad well, honestly. Just hope his decision making and final ball improves.
Not forgetting the number of times he gives the ball away

Thought you were talking about Trump for a mo then Baz.
Craig Forsyth’s pass completion rate is 66% this season. Baz may not approve, but Meat Loaf would no doubt find it acceptable.
61% under the new standards Vidal. Deflections, bibbles and bobbles no longer count. Harsh, but it will affect everyone in due course
How many of those were short, sideways and backwards Vidal? Give him an option of a ‘slightly difficult’ one - forwards or over 10 yds - and I reckon it’s less than 33%.
Or 28% under the new system. Keep up Baz
Tough 1 really for GR as Forsyth is the best left back at the club and to replace him would cost ££
I do not have that information Baz. I agree that the greater the difficulty of the pass and the greater the length, the more likely it is not to find its target though. Rather like putting in my experience. Maybe we will be able to get a left back who is slightly better at passing but not so good at defending in the January sales.
You’re beginning to sound like Spart??
Shouldn’t be difficult for a highly-paid professional footballer to pass the ball accuurately and consistently would you agree?
Regardless of what position he plays..I wish the lad well. Just hope he improves...
Re: Forsyth. I liked him when he first joined and thought he had potential. Prior to his injury he was making mistakes that included poor defending, giving away pens, ( can't remember if his first injury was before the play off final) when Hoillet skinned him to allow for that dreaded goal.
Unfortunately he was tainted after that game by fans, I was hoping he'd use that setback to improve his game but after two major career threatening injuries he's lucky to be playing again. I don't think he should be first choice, similar to Thorne he should be eased back in and either Olson or Anya considered for LB.
I'm surprised we've offered Forsyth a new contract when he could / should be one to leave end of season to free up spaces. I like Bristol City's LB Joe Bryan as a possible alternative. Any updates on Lowe? ( whilst typing this a thought crossed my mind, Forsyth is definitely no Jay McEvely, (thank God!) but he probably is important a weak link for this season whilst he recovers, gains match fitness, sharpness and confidence.
....and I hope he maintains his current excellent form Baz.
