They have come from wide positions almost every time. Matic has been filling in at LB for Shaw the last 3 attacks they’ve had.

They were meant to interchange

However playing young strikers out of position is part of their development.

Of course you do but most strikers aren't top level when it comes to passing. Look how highly Owen was rated around Europe. He only started looking up and passing in his later years. It was all about being on the last defender and turning him. This is what Rashford should be doing.

Teams are regularly running through our midfield.
