United and top 4 place

I said on performances United were in a false position (when clear of the pack in second) and it was clearly true - they're just as bad as the rest of us... possibly even worse

Don, United had an absolutely easy start to he season, where the fixtures were very kind to them, the wheels are starting to come off now. Spurs are a much better side, and I have maintained all along that Spurs will finish top three, probably just behind Chelsea. United may not even finish top four if they continue this downward spiral. I expect Spurs to beat that at Wembley with a bit to spare.

Liverpool look very strong and going forward they have a superb side, as good as City IMO. Salah is as good as anyone in the league. I think they are underrated at the back too and as a result I honestly think they have a good chance of 2nd.

If we were to get 4th I think that would be s great season for us

Getting fourth would be a good days work for both Liverpool and Spurs considering how tight it is this season.

I don't think Spurs are strong enough for top 2 IMO but no way they won't get top 4. Halfway through the season I'd say Chelsea and Liverpool are stronger than Spurs, the latter not by much.

Ah the better than Man Utd cup is on offer. Go and win an actual trophy boys. Just 1 in 25 years. We won more than that last season under Jose.

It was only a week ago United fans were saying 2nd was nailed on and a 5 point gap was insurmountable. They never learn.

We know United win more trophies than Spurs, let's face it you probably support United because of the trophies you have won so of course you can always bring that up.

This coming from a Liverpool fan who say next year is their year?

We're having a wobble since City beat us. You lot will have another at some point too. Next 4 games look tough too. 3 away games and City at home for Liverpool.

Don't get too cocky. Truth is apart from City....nobody is consistent.

Eric, in all fairness even your own fans are booing the team off the pitch. That's not due to the results but due to the manner of the performances. The fact you guys are playing such boring football should be more of a worry than anything else in my opinion.

Ah the old cliche. Show me one Liverpool fan (with the exception of GB) who’s said this? Bet you can’t.

You call it a wobble. We’ve seen this before with Jose. The attitude, calling his own players out publicly, blaming everyone else, the moody press interviews. It never ends well.

I know. I was there. And the performance deserved booing. We were terrible.

The team is feeling sorry for itself since City ended our faint title hopes. Clearly lacking energy and ideas. It can change though.

I don't see need for panic just yet though as the rest of the chasers all have their own issues and tough periods coming up.

It's City and then 3 from 5.

Nah, thought not.

Liverpool are nowhere near as good as City. In my opinion Spurs have a much better first XI than they do, and it showed it when the two teams met at Wembley. I don`t see Liverpool any higher than 4th. Spurs will once again finish above Liverpool. No problem there.

Sandy, going forward Liverpool are exceptional. I definitely don't agree that it's 4th at best for them.

The answer to this question is 'NO'.

United are not a good side and in truth have not been all season but I still see them sealing top four possibly just pipping Tottenham.

I will predict the top six nearly as it is now with Liverpool and United switching positions.

If United finish fourth then I don't see Mourinho being there next season, think he'll walk.

You can’t really choose from the 5 teams behind city. On paper arsenal are the weakest but still find the results.

Last season Spurs had a great spread of goals across the team with Ali, Son and Ericksen doing really well, but in comparison, so far this season the team has been too dependent on Kane for goals. If those other aforementioned players can have a better 2nd half season in terms of scoring goals then Spurs have a decent shout of finishing 2nd again.

Trouble is, the way City look set up, while Pep stays, do any of us have a chance of winning the title in the next few seasons? I am not so sure!

Where you asleep, Robb made a few articles about it, on how your top 4 was cemented.

So are Spurs, and with a lot more variety. Not sure if you noticed but they scored 10 goals at home against Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.

Spurs always seem to go way under the radar, and Liverpool way above it. They have not beaten any team of any substance this season, other than Arsenal at home, and that is hardly that difficult these days, the way Arsenal perform away from home.

Liverpool are a decent side, but are being way overrated, and from back to front are nowhere as good as Spurs, so let`s see where they finish come May.

Arsenal will always be there or thereabouts, because they know how to flat-track bully the weak teams, especially at home. They are pretty well nailed on to win at West Brom today, as they were to win at Palace. It is the big games they come unstuck in.

Spurs have more variety up front than Liverpool. Behave Sandy

Spurs need another Son like player for more variety. Then if Kane is out you play son and another.
