Less starts. Less opportunities. Most times he's 1 on 1 he scores but he rarely gets in that position unlike hazard and morata. Pedro has 1 in 4 games for us despite having to play further behind than morata and hazard and others, with less starts and playing wing back from time to time.
Spurs goal, Everton goal, yesterday, the top corner one this year all point to a great finisher. If he played further up and didn't work as hard he would probably have more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
that points to great goals not great finishing in my book....he misses just as many as he scores, as do all our attackers
socred one more goal than Willian who also works hard in fact works harder than Pedro

What easy ones has he missed? Even yesterday morata missed the easiest chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so did Pedro that is the point and he has missed plenty this season, just as they all have
lets not wate time ffs i don't agree with you
that is all there is to it
pls see JFDIs comments
Yes but still Pedro starts less and Willian has even played for more amount of time than Pedro.Pedro is a very good player and he would score more goals if he had more starts and played in a more advanced position.Goal by Drinkwater yesterday by his outfoot was also a great goal and actually the best goal by a Chelsea player in Premier League this season.Pedro was also excellent.
William works harder haha

He misses a lot of chances to
scorer of great goals but not a great goal scorer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Correct
The attached might help, if you are prepared to put opinion to one side for a moment.
Clearly not every goal is the same and clearly not every shot is either but you can see clear differences if you are willing to that can support your arguments, or not.

Personally I feel we should be grateful for every single scorer, every single positive result and put an end to digging out individuals or applying to much credit. It's s team sport and they all count.

The freekick that we scored the opener from was won by Willian.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, Moses did but point noted
Sorry, you're right, meant to point out William took it, first assist.

Finishing in general is one argument, Pedro is definitely are most dangerous player from 20-25 yards out (maybe Alonso too). Off either foot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zappacosta isn't bad
Pedro 58 goals from 204 La Liga appearances in a very strong and in many seasons, a totally dominant Barcelona side..............
Pedro at his best, in that Barce side, his signature strength was clinical finishing off either foot. Lots of sub appearances from both the start of his Barce career as a youngster and his final season playing back up to MSN. At his best he was nearing a goal every two games from a wide position at Barce
at his best 25 from 67 over two seasons....
there is nothing amazing to be found in his stats.
as mentioned previously, it just comes down to opinions
But i can't remember if Pedro has ever scored in back to back league games for us?...........if he has it hasn't happened very often
In Malouda's two best PL seasons he scored 25 from 71 for Chelsea
So Pedro had a better record than that including sub appearances. When malouda was near unplayable!?
Malouda was hot fire! It was such a joy watching him, Nico, Drogba, Kalou with Deco, Lampard and Ballack making things happen from midfield. It was magical joyful football.
he was frustrating overall for us, but around 2010 for 2 years he was probably the best LW in the league.

the goal per game records speak for themselves for both players..
But Malouda was playing for Chelsea and Pedro was playing for one of the best teams of all time
If that is a reflection of the best period for either player neither is hardly mind blowing stuff
Only if that's all you judge a player on.
As for pedro, not all of them were starts.
there was messi, eto, villa, sanchez and a few others in that time.
Looking into pedro starts for barca
4 in 7 CL 09/10

73 in 169. Pretty good.
I don't jusge any player on stats unless they are so strong that they can not be ignored. most os the stats scrutinised in football are totally meaningless.
Only one way to just a player and that is with your own eyes................
