Try SHORE (or night school)
Will, top 6 absolutely NO chance, first thing we have to do AGAIN is steady a meandering ship, and tbh other than Cash for Vaughan it could well be MW’s team. Can’t say I am feeling overly optimistic fo r today’s game. I still see a lack of goal threat, and if Leedspress us as they did in the 2-0 win at ours I can see a very similar outcome.
A bit late here but, we’ve sacked another one????!!!!
What is going on with this football club? Can’t we start and end a season with the same man in charge? We’re mid table which is where we probably deserve to be. Anyone expecting us to go from last game survivors to promotion hopefuls is expecting way too much. Happy new year indeed but same old story, no stability.
Fair play, you are right.

I know it won't happen but I think Dougie would be a good appointment.
The only recent manager who did the job he set out to do......then we sacked him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be happy with Dougie back. Did a great job on peanuts.

I thought that was Charles Schulz?

I know there is no realistic chance of top six. What I am saying is the owners clearly think they do have a chance or they wouldn’t have made this change now. They have put themselves up there to be shot at by the tw@tterati.
I'm afraid Warbs only had himself to blame, his tactics and selections were amongst the worst I've ever seen, players out of position weekly, others ignored whilst favorites played constantly despite poor results. Clearly something was rotten behind the scenes and to have lost at home to two brutal teams (Sunderland and Wednesday) who can barely muster a win elsewhere showed how bad things had become. I suspect there are some rotten eggs in the dressing room but I dont think Warbs had a strong enough personality or vision going forward to reassure the owners so the outcome was inevitable. Massive decision now as to who comes in as they'll have to get this right or their credibility will be shot to pieces!!
Didn’t have too many issues with selections. I thought he picked the strongest available on most occasions. I suspect there are bad apples at the club that are a hangover from the Al Hasawi years and until they are plucked and chucked on the compost heap, the Trees won’t grow...
Happy new year, all.
There are very strong rumours abound regarding Frank Mcparland's sacking on Friday.
Apparently he has family links to a football agent whose clients include Mckay ,Cummings, Mcginn Foderingham, Tavenier, to name a few.
As an Agent they would get some percentage of all deals, Randall QC got wind of this and the owner wasn’t impressed; especially when the list of targets given from Frank McParland included some of these players!

I heard something similar. What is it with the Scots? First Billy’s cousin, now this!
Sounds like the situation with that goatee chap at the Sheepdip. It must be more prevalent than people think. I guess Warburton has had to fall on his sword then as a result? He wouldn’t want to carry on without him and would probably be quite loyal to McParland.
Forest sure know how to pick them!
This paints a different picture.
FA need to tighten up the rules regarding football directors and corruption.
Paul Cook from Wigan is emerging. I'd like this to happen.

That will be the day when The Rams and Forest meet in The Champions League Final then (which we will win of course)?

Yes, I’d rather they went for an up and coming a manger like Cook rather than another off the merry-go-round. Might be just what is needed to shake things up a little.

Yep me too, Cook would be a somewhat different approach to times past, a similar CV to Chris Wikder and plays attractive football. Also has this period between now and next season to implement his ideas without huge pressure. Think doing the same thing going for candidates from the usual merry go round of names obviously hasn’t worked so a new approach might pay dividends 👍🏼

Heckingthingy from Barnsley has seen his odds slashed from 10/1 to 5/1...
I'm uneasy about poaching another clubs manager midseason to be frank [ or Ken ] what does it say about the individual and about us as a club? If we had a successful manager who looked like getting us up to the Prem' and he walked out half way through the season? think about it.
True, but loyalty is very rare in football these days.
Clough turning down Forest last year was a rare example of loyalty at work (and arguably common sense...).
I have to say I very much admire your imagination, RFB.
