So the question is who can we realistically sign?
Danny Ings apart, i'm struggling plus i'm not 100% confident Ings would be the solution.
2 wins all season, not looking good. What have you made of Pardew? Looked an uninspired appointment,
He does usually start well, not happened this time round though so far.
It's incredible that they won the first two games of the season and there has been none since then.
Bringing Pardew in to manage a squad put together by Pulis in the middle of the season was a strange decision.
I expect him to be given funds this month.
Maybe you should look towards Portugal / Spain for some good players ?
Actually, scrap that, we've got them all

Pulisaurus can I ask you a sensible question? No wumming, no pizz taking whatsover.
Looking at your squad you have very few players under 25/26 and several well in their 30s. In your opinion is this a good policy or do you think that an injection of youthful talent would put the spark back into your performances?
Got to say it feels similar to the last relegation. Don't think we're one of the 3 worst by any stretch but we just don't have the firepower. Confidence is shot, all of our best players seem to be injured at key times and we just don't seem to get the breaks that we used to get under Him.
We obviously need to reinvest the Evans money. Would like us to take a punt on Dembele.
Think we're leaving ourselves with too much to do though and don't trust our fantastic "football department" to get us out of it anyway.

Would it be as simple as signing a striker though? Maybe what happened to us (and this is not a wind up) would work for you too. A total clear out of players that have been around for too long, of coaching staff with outdated ideas and an inflexible manager that cannot accept his own limitations.

Fair enough comment that. But I noticed the other day that Pardew was trying to get your game with West Ham postponed because of the effects on the players having so many games in a short space of time. It does seem as though the 21-25 type age group can cope better than the 27-30s.

As far as keeping us up this season is concerned then yes, it would be as simple as signing a striker.
If we go down i'll be calling for a new Manager and coaching team plus a new Chairman. As for young players, we already have Burke, Leko, Field, Harper and Wilson. So the young talent is there.

I think the biggest clear out needed is in the boardroom. We've lost our identity and what worked for us in the name of Pulisball.
The squad needs freshening up yes and has stagnated. But most of the over 30's have hardly played this season anyway. A fully fit GK and back 4 are very good. Our forwards are gash though
Thankfully Pulis and his coaches have long gone although the damage is the broken side he left behind. What we miss is our scouting network who used to pluck gems for next to nothing. Now we seem to do most of our scouting from the sofa.
All due respect, I don't think Wolves are comparable. They had to go down to League 1 and would be a run-of-the-mill Championship side until you hit the jackpot with Fosun.
WBA are down.
I don't think there can be any doubt.
Losing to Swansea, Brighton, Huddersfield, West Ham... throwing away crucial points time after time in the last 10 minutes... no real goalscorer...
Swansea. WBA and probably Bournmeouth for the drop.
Grow a pair, lad.
It doesn't look great but it's January. Technically we can still catch Man C. Obviously we are not going to but that's how many points there are still left to play for.

That's a pretty accurate summation actually Teix. I hat to think where we would be now had Fosun not decided (for reasons known only to Fosun) to buy our club. We are very, very lucky to have them as owners but not just because they are rich. They have a burning desire for success and will make WWFC successful whatever it takes. But it was not my intention to compare the two clubs but rather the Fosun Model with what you have at present. A few seasons ago "The Albion Model" was being touted as the way our club should have been focussed but as you say Albion seem to have lost their identity and their focus.
I sincerely hope that you can turn things around and survive the tough time that you are having at present. I have no doubt that we will be in the prem next season and I hope that you are still there so that normal hostilities can be resumed
Hope so too Gem...we'll have to winning games soon otherwise it'll be freezing our bollox off away to Barnsley next year
