Parasitic, indifferent owner; clueless board, complicit manager.
To think that we actually made a net profit last summer in addition to the extortionate ticket prices.

it's all BS words just to keep the fans from revolting, we'll probaly hear the same chit this summer too.

I stopped reading at the point that they said Gibbs was allowed ot leave and was not replaced. Gibbs was allowed to leave as we had already signed Kolasinac.

The general gist of it is right though. we dont invest and dont change things. In the summer we could have gone for Aubameyang, proven in a top league, but instead went for Lacazette from the weaker French league. He is definitely an upgrade on Giroud but could (should) we have spent a bit more for a better player? And in midfield Wenger seems to have settled for Xhaka playing every game. We were linked with Fabinho from Monaco in the summer and I have read reports rating him as the second best midfielder in the world last year. With these two signings I think we would be in the top 4 now.

The club is stagnant and doesnt know how to rectify its mistakes, but instead bury their heads in the sand and continue without change. And dont forget we made a profit on transfers last year while the clubs around us were busy spending the TV money. Its not the first time something like that has happened either.

It boggles the mind how they expect Alexis and Ozil to stay given the abysmal lack of investment in the squad.
Wilshere will only probably re-sign because of his arsenal roots.
A second season in the ropy league will be damaging.

It boggles my mind to see Mislintat, Sellehi and a host of other backroom changes made and then see these articles about our stagnation pop up.

We're changing the engine instead of freshening the paint. For the first time in a very, very long time.

Why did David dean sell his stake to Kronke in the beginning?

---------------------------------------------------------------Changing the engine? we fecking need a new car (owner) and a driver (manager) that can actually drive!

May be you're right but still the amount of backroom staff changes is not to be underestimated and shows some desire at least for change.

I dont think we'll qualify for the ropey league again this season. Im expecting worse than being in it, 6th and no cup.
