"Someone posted that we need to move on from Tuesday night"
That was me & I say 5 with 12 point from the next 4 games happy clapping all the way (you can tell it's Friday & the workin week is nearly over i'm in a proper good mood).
for me. I think megson can get the job done but stability is what we need. Surely the last god knows how many years have shown that just hiring and firing managers every six months doesnt work.
3 from me.
With you 100% that we need to move on from Tuesday. It's boring for starters. The majority of posts on here this week are rehashing's of each other, and could be summarised in one paragraph.
Time to drop it and see what becomes of the bigger picture.
Having just watched the Stevenage debacle again yes we can be positive.
1st goal keeping error.
2nd goal good shot but was not closed down quick enough
3rd goal no marking
4th goal fluke
5th goal tap in marking all over the place.
Really down to attitude of players mostly. MM ought to dock there wages or they should do the same as the Ipswich team did and pay the expenses of the supporters for the next away trip.
I lay the problems of Tuesday firmly at the feet of the players.
There are problems with Megson's unattractive style of play but there is no way a team with two holding midfielders and all 11 players over 6 ft should have been bullied like that. Embarrassing.
3 . I believe Megson is the best man for the job. Our problems run deep though and I don't know if he'll get the time he needs to fix it.
Three stars here as well Shib.
We are very much a work in progress especially away from base. Megson's been unlucky in some respects that the 2 strikers he brought in have been injured straight away and Weaver out for 3 months doesnt help. I'd love us to absolutely tayter Yeovil as a response to Stevenage, but its Wednesday so that wont happen. 8 Points min requirement from next 4 games.
I went 2 stars cos I couldn't wholeheartedly agree with 3 but it's not as bad as 1.
Five stars from me! I predict goals aplenty in the upcoming games - all the more reason to wear your Col-Owls-Tomy bag with pride! Buy now while stocks last!!
Buy now!!
Now!!
1 star from me - Mr. Negative. We don't got the players.
Bit harsh on Laws; he was rubbish at the end but kept us competitive at a higher level with not much cash.
Shibb, stop talking sense. This board is not the place for reasonable debate.
3 stars for me as well.
