Arsenal.com put it as a 3-4-2-1, but could just as easily be 4-3-2-1 with the players starting. Might just be wishful thinking to hope Nelson gets a more attacking role though

Risky line-up.

In what way? Full of experience, with a couple of youngsters eager to impress.
Should be enough to beat Forest.

No one on the bench who could potentially turn the game around either

Would have prefered to play a better team from begin on and then change it around when we lead.

Nketiah is on the bench and he turned around our last cup game against a Championship team...

Nacho and kolasinac are not back anytime soon which means AMN will start today, on Wednesday and on the weekend

That team has a lot of pace but void of any creativity and with forest likely to sit back, will be tough to break down

Coquelin injured as well?

posted on 7/1/18

Kolasinac is due back next week. Monreal the week after

And there is no issue with AMN playing 3 games in 8 days anyway.

yeah not even on the bench

Kolasinac back in light training. Could be fit for Chelsea like Ramsey

Any news on Ramsey?

Once he is back, would like to see him and jack starting

Would have liked to have a few senior players in that midfield and have a stronger bench, this won't be an easy tie by any means.

posted on 7/1/18

Will probably see a stronger team on Wednesday as Chelsea will definitely play a strong 11

With that starting 11, it's going to be a much closer game today than I'd like. Should have enough to go through, but I'll settle for a 1-0

What an absolute mess of a team Walcott and welbeck just back from injury too.

A little TOO lightweight in midfield for my liking.

Maitland-Niles or Reine Adelaide fine, but both?

Considering all the players we have fit, he puts that team out?

Wtf is this team? That midfield will get run ragged

Never understand fielding a understrength team

Terrible midfield. Surely Ramsey at least should start!

Just a few of the comments before last seasons FA Cup against Southampton. Very similar to many of the comments above

We won that 5-0 for anyone with a short memory...

And the midfield was outstanding on that day - Jeff and AMN played brilliantly.

We're Arsenal. You don't expect us to be optimistic do you?

Yup we played other games like at Preston

Won the FA Cup 3 times out of 4 seasons - yeah I think we should be optimistic...

With a stronger team.... Ospina, Mustafi, Gabriel, Monreal, Ramsey, Xhaka, Iwobi, Lucas, Ox and Giroud in that - along with Maitland-Niles.
