I see your point but also your legacy in the game must be a thing
-----------
from a non professional footballers point of view looking from the outside a lot of fans talk about legacy and recognition but can be quick to disregard players who have been at their club for years, he wants to get as much money as possible and given his age its a smart move, he could probably sign a few 500k a week contracts over the next 5-6 years there
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly, Liverpool fans and Arsenal fans also are hating on Carra and Henry respectively for trying to make further careers out of themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool fans hating on Carra?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely on twitter.

Tbf Liverpool have the worst fan base on twitter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every club has idiots on Twitter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, but unfortunately Pool fans are the worst/go the most extreme. Whereas the Arsenal idiots are just more funny than anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Plenty of other clubs' fans cross the line too and come out with ridiculous stuff.

PEA is a bit of a desperate case tbh. When it was touted that Lewandowski was off to Madrid then he wanted Bayern. That didn't happen so apparently had his heart set on Real and turned down an approach by AC Milan. Then when Real weren't interested he started courting AC Milan again but they said no.

He wants out of Dortmund for whichever pay day he can get. Not a criticism as such, just the way it seems to be.

Personally I think manager of top clubs will look at that and move on pretty quickly. You want hungry players who are looking to achieve something. China honestly isn't a bad move for him because he'll be 29 in the summer, I think Dortmund is probably the biggest club he'll play for in Europe.

Realistic

Yep as a realistic Spurs fan, you don't except too much, learn to keep quiet at other clubs misgivings (i.e. Arsenal going out of the cup yesterday), as we haven't exactly done much in terms of winning anything for god knows how long. When Spurs start winning trophy's / leagues on a regular basis (not in my lifetime) then we can start to brag a little!

Yes I agree Still Dreaming!

We set ourselves up Royally by taking the mickey, should wait until we have things in the bag before trying to mug others off!

No way. Saw him live when we played them in September, he was basically anonymous. Just spent the entire game looking to get on the shoulder of the last defender and run in behind. Rarely if ever involved in any link play or trying to work the defenders by dropping deep or running the channels. Just reminded me of how I was told to play as a child because I had more pace than most defenders.

I want someone who’s got some variety to their game. Decent pace, reasonable strength, can spot a pass and has some skill to create something from nothing. A Suárez-type striker I suppose rather than some one-dimensional player
