What are your expectations for this transfer window?
-------------------------------------

All the players you've mentioned in the OP, with the exception of Giroud, to leave.

None to come in.

I expect Walcott, Debuchy and Coquelin to be sold and we'll probably bring in Evans.

I think we'll keep Giroud and Sanchez although I wouldn't be surprised to see Sanchez go and then us bring in a short term loan option a la Kallstrom or Benayoun!

I repeat yet again. Who will buy Walcott and pay him £140,000 per week. None of the big teams will cause they all know his limited ability and he would not get in their first team.I have a feeling we will be always stuck with little Theo for paying him big bucks. Plus Walcott has no ambition.Sit on the bench be a millionaire and laugh his socks off.

Which is why he'll probably go of on loan, with Arsenal paying a chunk of his wages.

There is no way they will let Walcott go on loan if we sell Sanchez unfortunately. If we managed to sell Walcott we could let him go and use monies for a replacement. This is why it wont happen.

We will not sell Giroud. Should sell Sanchez for £35m. No one will pay stupid money for Theo. Coq is the most likely to leave. Debuchy has been dead for 3 years

Walcott willing to take a wage cut according to reports.

No expectatations for us this window!
maybe some outs and some 16yr old kid from Uzbekistan coming to us, who goes on loan for 5 yrs.
I highly doubt any stella signings coming in this window.

For any team outside the top six he would have to have his wages halved can anybody see that happening.

What a mess the club is in.

Pretty much agree with this.

If you sell all those players and lets face it, top players don't want to join a club in flux, Alexis and Ozil also leave how to do you get CL next season? Like it or not the reason why we have done well in UEFA is because of Walcott and Wilshere. Where does the first team go with Iwobi, Welbeck?

posted on 9/1/18

Wilshere won't appear in the Europa again now until/unless we reach the quarters/semis. Think the amount of speculation surrounding Walcott suggests there's a strong chance he'll be off.

Iwobi needs to be taken out of the frame for a while, but won't be. Welbeck seems to have regressed (as impossible as that would've seemed) since returning from injury.

Willock and Nelson to get us through the next round then...

Though I have some hope for the present group of youngsters they were pretty much exposed by Forest.

IMO pretty much guaranteed that Sanchez is leaving in this window (most likely City) and Walcott will go to Southampton on loan, (hardly a great loss). Debuchy, Coq, also likely departures.

No point signing anyone now. Keep what we have and sell them all in the summer and use the money to have a really nice holiday

In the immortal words of James Alan Hetfield: "F*** them all and f***ing no regrets".

We’ll look very stupid if we decide to sell Sanchez now. The point of them keeping him was that he helps us get top 4. Sell him now and the club will just look clueless. Which obviously they are, so we probably will sell him

posted on 9/1/18

I doubt any of them will leave in January but it's definitely possible in the summer

posted on 9/1/18

My issue with these players leaving is that Wenger just won't buy.

We have see how poor our squad is once we get injuries

posted on 9/1/18

Any why are we selling coquelin and keeping dross like Elneny?

Same applies for walcott and Welbeck

Guys, think this way, if you are young talented player, would you like to sign for Arsenal?? Especially with current climate? Our club is on decline. Like it or not but that's the fact. Any serious player, who has appetite for trophies, glory, appetite for his own development would sign for Arsenal when other clubs have better prospects? Likes of City, Chelsea, Pool in England and other clubs in Europe.

Wenger has lost his magic in finding young talent. We don't know where club is heading towards? We have difficult 3-5 years ahead for sure.

Castor,
We not keeping Walcott or some other dross, we having difficulty offloading them.

Thats not quite true. Its that other clubs saw him doing well by finding young players so joined in. Football has moved from young players moving up the leagues as it used to a few decades ago to the best young players being snapped up by the big clubs when they are young. The best example of this being Messi
