Last year it suited the players, this year it doesn’t.

What does Bakayoko do to get a starting place every week

Last year we didn't play negative football. Last year we played 4-3-3 and good football for the most part. I wish we would line up like that again. Get rid of Fab or Bak from the 11 and play Pedro. Just like last year.

3-4-3 not 4-3-3 ^^

Fabregas doesn't work in a 2 man midfield.

He plays this 3-5-2 to control the midfield, gets the best out of Cesc but we got 2/3 players that can score on the pitch

Not starting with Cesc every week worked fine last season.

Your formation looks ridiculously defensive to me. Surely you drop Bakayoko for another winger/attacking mid?

Drinkwater is as good as Matic.

Barkley-Kante-Fabregas

in the middle three ahead of Bakayoko/Drinkwater. Would make us a bit more adventurous and still have the players in the middle of the park.

I always thought Conte was quite a defensive manager and not that much different from Mourinho. Your success last year mainly came from a solid base in defence and just hitting teams on the break and not really dominating possesion, now with Willian and Pedro out the team you don't have the pace to do so.

Drinkwater is as good as Matic - what world you living on?

Sure, peak Matic is a much better player but last season we were not working with that Matic. He was poor.

There was a reason every Chelsea supporter was happy for him to leave.

Why 3-5-2? It put so much pressure on Hazard and Morata.

Happy for him to leave because it was a lot of money. His replacements are shocking

3-5-2 makes sense with better wingbacks and better 3rd mid (Barkley could well add something different there though)

How are Leicester not winning this? They have been excellent and we have been rubbish. We can't seem to string two passes together.

We can’t play 3-4-3 since we don’t have anyone good enough to play alongside Kante in a 2 and Morata needs someone alongside him and wouldn’t be good enough in a front 3 Imo. He needs a partner in a 2 up front.

The good news is, in spite of being totally outplayed, it's still 0-0. Gives us hope for the second half when we must surely be better.

I absolutely love Mahrez. Why would nobody put a proper bid in for him - he is one of the best players in the league. He would improve any team.

Been saying this since summer. Boggles the mind that he's still at Leicester

Bakayoko has been shocking again, how he plays every game is beyond me. Love Conte but this isn't working

All over the place, at least defense holding it out. There is no midfield / attack. Take Baka off and play Willian / Pedro. One more attacker

Been saying for a long time would love Mahrez in the side. Doesn't really fit a 3-5-2 when we have Hazard but a 3-4-3 should be built around him and Hazard. We need to go all out for someone of actual quality to partner Kante.
