Alright, alright, I,ll get my coat.

John Reid spent more time talking about Rangers' issues than celtics.

Maybe that is why he was a complete failure and has overseen the total shambles that is celtic over the past few years.

Upset, more like given us a good laugh.

He's been such a success right enough, how many trophies have you lot won under him?

All his dirty tricks have won you nothing.

What dirty tricks......?

I don't remember OUR club master minding a ' Game of Shame '

I don't recall OUR club backing the referees strike when the rest of Scottish football were telling them to get back to work...

I don't recall OUR chairman going into hiding

Blaming refereeing decisions for his teams failings.

Lying about a trip to Japan so season couldn't be extended. Fair enough if you don't agree with it being extended but just say so, don't make up lies.

Not doing anything about fans disrespecting war dead, many of who he sent to war himself.

The man is a liar and a spin machine who has played Celtic fans like a fiddle.

I'm actually a little disappointed he's leaving as your club may actually loose it's chip and become competitive for the first time in three years.

Yeah he must have. How many trophies were won under his time in charge?

Or more importantly how many were lost?

"I don't recall OUR chairman going into hiding"

Investigation finished yet? How about the dossier? or the trip to Japan? How about cancelling a game because McGeady wasn't fit and using another excuse.

Lord Reid is a political monster, he absolutely tore the anti-modernist, self-interested status-quo'ers up like Andrex.

EASY! EASY! EASY!

The SFA is fit for purpose now!!

All congrats must go to that lone voice in the wilderness, Lord Reid. The fantabulous annihilation of the golf club mafioso, those V-neck Nihilists who threatened to destroy our game from the inside with their own fatalistic idealism more than met their match in Rottweiler Reid.
He took his time, time spent ratcheting up the pressure, knowing that all the time, he was giving them all rope they needed, waiting for the enivitable, ego driven error...When it came...He hit the trap-door lever gleefully!!

In 1 perfectly timed. professionally constructed, ambush...Scotland instantly became a fairer place for professional footballers to ply their trade.

Baron this, Lord that..Dr.Whatever..To me you'll always be "Job Done" Johnny.

""Job Done" Johnny"

I heard he used Rizla papers, not Job.

after Phil O'Donnell passed away ( I like that term for footballers) was at Parkhead paying tribute with a mate. Reid was just standing around and came up to talk to us. He asked us how we were, etc. He had sandwiches in a bag for his lunch and asked us if we wanted one. Corned Beef...my favourite!! A man of the people. A war monger...never!! Time will show that he changed Scottish football and made a great contribution to Celtic. Judge him purely on this time at Celtic.

Would you be saying that if he was a rapist? Or a murderer (which I would argue he is)?

The man along with many others took this country into an illegal war, he has blood on his hands.

I couldn't care less if he was the best thing to ever happen in Scottish football (which he is far from) I would still like to see him behind bars.

I don't care for it myself but I don't see why it's relevant.

If they were singing 'Let's all bomb Iraq' I could see your point.

John Reid has broken international law. Unfortunately like many who think they're above the law (like Bush and Blair) they will never be brought to justice.

If John Reid had committed an illegal act in this country that had resulted in the deaths of thousands would you be happy for him to be Celtic chairman?

'If John Reid had committed an illegal act in this country that had resulted in the deaths of thousands would you be happy for him to be Celtic chairman'

so are you saying that he hasn't committed an illegal act in this country....good because the law happens to agree with you.

The government he was part of committed a breach of international law by using military force against Iraq. This resulted in deaths of thousands of Iraqis and hundreds of troops from the UK and other countries.

By going against international law the government illegally killed thousands of people. What's so hard to understand about that.

As usual when it doesn't happen on your doorstep people don't care.

How about we cut all the bs out and realise that his time at Celtic was disatrous.

His time at celtic will remembered as the "Dark days" similar to the 1990's.

But hey, he was great at spin.

No aw disastrous as he managed to make the SFA change their way but obviously you were against that happenin Medro...
