England will be massively motivated, as they have been to win dead rubbers recently. And Indian fans will be making full use of any win their 'reserve' team achieves in the bragging wars.
So hopefully a good win for England today. And some due runs for Trott.
I agree about Trott who has not been at his high level since coming back from Injury.
Pakistan started at a canter.
England could give some new caps out to Bairstow and Buttler to freshen the side up. Doubt they will.
I'd bring in Dernbach, Buttler and Patel for Finn, Stokes (if injured) and Broad.
Praveen Kumar out injured, playing...football.
Opportunity for someone else. Aaron?
Indeed and Stokes has a bit of an issue with spin bowling from what I have seen from him so far.
Pak 65/0 of 5.4 overs. We don't usually see fast starts from Pak.
did I just see rameez raja playing for pak??? who is this lad
"Why was Khawaja dropped and Phil Hughes still in the team?"
Because it's hard to work out which player is worse and Hughes has actually managed to pass 50 a couple of times and has scored 2 tons, Khawaja's highscore is 37 from 5 innings averaging 29.5, hardly awe inspiring stuff.
Anyone know any links for the coverage?
Anderson rested. That's a good decision I reckon. Bit surprised Bairstow was picked over Buttler.
No Aaron for India.
Probably good toss for England.

I usually google ten sports live cricket and you will get your match.
India adopting the wickets in hand approach again that brought England little success for many years. Though that was because England were poor.
Decent stuff from Finn.

If you discount his first series against SA then Hughes has been pants. A declining average game by game and an Aussie that can't play the short ball. Granted in 4 games Khawaja has not set the world alite but Marsh should still have replaced Hughes and allowed Khawaja a fair crack.

Great spell from Finn. Shame we can't cram him somehow into the Test team.

I think we all new that was the case Hamza but its just his word at the moment. If Salman Butt comes out and says that he pressurised Amir then its a different story but he hasnt.
I think commenting on it before the court case is probably not legal in the UK.
Incredible drop by Patel.
Looks like it Mildred. India off to a decent start.
England need a couple of wickets in the first power play.

He has submitted his confession in writing to the London court.
Finn is going to be top player though 6ft6 and can bowl 95mph.
