Liverpool were superb and fully deserved the win, even with City's late rally. I like that they stuck to their own game too, rather than bow down to City.
If there’s a dampener for me, it’s Klopps post match comments where he said something about how City probably won’t lose another match this year.
Liverpool did great, and did what no other team has managed this season. And although he may turn out to be correct, it seems a little uneccessarily arrogant to act like Liverpool are the only team capable of doing it all season.
Maybe I read too much into it. Shouldn’t detract from a great result.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can see where you're coming from but maybe he forgot that you're playing them at home. They've already beat Chelsea and United away and shouldn't lose to arsenal. I think that spurs are the only other team that have a chance of beating city this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah not a bad point, as is Ttliv’s point about hoping they’ll take maximum points from the other top four rivals.
Just struck me as a bit odd to say, but nothing outrageous.

Two poor defences going head to head today.

So you were wrong about being above us on the 13th. Wrong about being above us on the 14th. When are you saying now?

£ity were terrible at the back, they gifted Pool all 4 goals today, Pep`s ego played straight into Pool`s strengths, you could see this result coming. A draw would have been a fair result but £ity were always going to lose a game eventually.
I hope Liverpool don't sign a top class keeper, they will be tough to compete with if they do.

We need a new GK coach first or hope he brings his own coach with him.
Truth of the matter is that Liverpool showed how to play against City. Go right at 'em, keep on 'em, never let them think, press like crazy, and .... score!
Sound like Spurs?
But City were without David Silva.
Also they played with a real clown of a Goal Keeper.
Both of which cost them.
Should have been a 3-3 draw.
All-in-all, City were below par and Pool played out of their minds.
Now we have to make up 3 points on some of the teams ahead. Fourth spot is a reality for us!

Anyone know what a goalkeeping coach actually does.

He teaches him where to put his water bottle and his spare gloves. Also how to fall down without hurting himself.

So you think the problem is the GK coaches rather than the keepers themselves? Interesting.

I actually think he was just acknowledging how good City are, and was trying to be gracious in victory. TBF, we’re the one team in the PL who are best set up to beat City.
Liverpool still seem to be a team for the big occasion. Yes, well done Liverpool but your defence must be addressed.

Maybe against any other team, but City are a great side and score plenty of late goals. We got the win, that’s all that matters.
18 games unbeaten in all competitions, and now the longest current unbeaten run in the prem.
Onwards and upwards.

And you are still miles behind City.
Fair play though you won the 18 games unbeaten trophy though.
Gutted that they won. Even though City can still romp home with the title, I wanted them to go and dominate away to all their rivals (except for us). End of the day though, City have lost and can easily surpass the invincibles 90 points as well as the Chelsea record of 95 and cement themselves as THE best PL side in any given season. Piiiised that one of our CL qualification rivals won, although have to respect that it wasn’t any of that man United parking the bus and hoofball to the target man bollox.
