Walcott was a valuable asset. One of our better goal scorers. Injured have messed with him and since Wenger went to a back 3, his days were numbered.
Then when average players like Welbeck were starting about him, there was a problem
I'm really glad to see Walcott go but yes, we need a major rebuild - although I am unconvinced Wenger is up to it.
How much did we actually get from Everton for him, anyone know?
Never been a big fan of him but what a disastrous manager Wenger has become. Just because he criticised the team last season, he's not had a look in. Losing our two most potent scorers in middle of season to rivals is a joke.
Sorry but I disagree, he will be known for scoring over 100 goals not because of gesture he made to spurs fans. Only 18 players in our history have scored more than theo. Injuries have obviously hampered his development, especially the acl which use to end careers. Haters will realise when he bangs in goals for Everton what a big miss he actually will be if we don’t sign the likes abumayang. Iwobi and Welbeck should both be gone.
Over the years Theo has provided me with moments of joy and pain. I have been frustrated with Walcott's inability to improve his football nouse. Ultimately however I have a lot of time for Theo and would encourage other Gooners, when the time comes, to welcome Theo back at the Emirates with a smile. He showed Arsenal commitment that the likes of RVP, couldn't even spell.
If he keeps fit then it’s a steal for Everton.
He should be motivated to get into the WC squad.
Walcott's been good for us. Never fulfilled his supposed potential, his all round game has not improved much in the 10 years he's been here, but you can't really argue with his numbers.
I'm glad to see him go. Hopefully he can perform well at Everton and we can improve on him with a new signing.
Good luck to him if he is just pulling a wage.
Interesting way to deflect from today’s guilty verdict.

What guilty verdict?
I'm sad he's gone because he did love the club but he hasn't done much recently
