I wrote this in 2012 on here. Unbelievably it could have been written today
"The new season beckons and the excitement and anticipation of our first game is now upon us.
As we gear up for the new season as defending FA Cup Winners and European Champions in our pursuit of SIX major honours this season and having secured the services of some much lauded and prodigious talent, I find myself thinking back to last season and how things turned out.
Then, I feel a sense of satisfaction, happiness and fulfillment at our enviable position and for what we have achieved at our club.
Then, naturally, my thoughts then turn to appreciating how lucky we are to be able to have witnessed such unparalleled success in recent times, having endured so much pain for decades before.
Then, my thoughts turn to those less fortunate than ourselves, in particular, the embittered supporters of a small North London club who happened to achieve a temporary elevated league position which ultimately counted for nothing and who have publicly taken so much zestful pleasure in our failures and misfortunes only to have been so utterly and completely humiliated. Yet again.
Having had the close season to reflect on things, I now understand their obvious overwhelming sense of inferiority given what little success they have enjoyed in living memory and how Chelsea have taken so much away from them recently. It must hurt blowing a 13 point lead (mind the gap), it must be painful getting pummeled 5-1 at their own 3 point Wembley in their clubs only chance of any silverware, it must cut like a knife knowing that the club they so obviously aspire to be the most and hold most envy for has taken so much from them, moving yet one more gigantic step above them by becoming European Champions at the expense of their CL place in a competition they habitually qualify for. Twice.
We owe them so much. For every club like Chelsea, there needs to be a Tottenham Hotspur. Our Euro-lottery to their Scratchcard, our Everest to their Box-Hill, our Steven Hawking to their Jade Goody.
I have watched with quiet satisfaction at every bitter, anti Chelsea comment and article on 606 and with every Tiny-Tott ill muttering, a greater sense of contentment and happiness swells within.
As long as there is a Tottenham Hotspur FC, we will always carry a greater sense of self worth and achievement as a club.
As long as there is a Tottenham Hotspur FC supporter, we will always have a superiority as humans.
Thank you Tottenham Hostpur FC and their supporters, we wouldn't be half the club without you Thank you for being you"
Conte my all time favs would be Bubbles, Mr C and TCP and the king of all is Sandsend. Lots of good WUM's from oppo Club's also. When he was at the height of his powers Sandy was always good value although I do like the new version. CFC is enthusiastic but a bit seat obsessed but nevertheless I'm a great fan of his work.
Whitewall you've had some good moments also particularly with our friends from Liverpool. When I get home tonight I'll put a classic from Bubbles that got 40 5*'s.

Yeah both CFC and Mr C produced some good WUM moments. I have heard of Sandsend, Bubble, Chelseabadger and TCP before, but no-one was/is active when I joined ja606
As promised earlier for Whitewall (and Conte) <drum roll>

What a lovely article Brought a tear to my eye that did
Unfortunately Bubbles doesn't go on to tell us what the crowd was. We will need the expertise of CFC to ascertain whether the stadium was half empty for that final.
