Does Sanchez = Mkhi + £15m?

This to me isn't a great deal. I was content when we were rumoured to be getting £35m + Mkhi for Sanchez but £15m seems a poultry sum to me.

He’s free in 6 months!

You are getting a player that Utd paid £35m for 18 months ago, admittedly he’s been absolutely gaash since but you’re getting £15m as well.

If he’d waited till the end of the season you’d have got zip.

Suck it up buttercup.

In all honesty, Mikhi at the current level is 20mill, but if we are talking Dortmund level then he's easy 50mill. So it works out alright.

Hopefully he picks up his good form again because really on his day he's quality. However I have a strong feeling he'll be as bad as he's been all season.

Not a bad deal at all. Rather get £0 for him in 5 months?

In today's market Mkhitarian is still worth a few quid. And let's not forget that Sanchez will be worth NOTHING in 5 months, so Mkhitarian plus ANYTHING is a half-decent deal. We can't get greedy because if we do, the deal will fall through, Sanchez will go for free and we won't get a replacement of any kind.

27mill and as you point out been gash and we gt 20mill out of him in the deal, we get one of the best in the league and they get something for sanchez

Transfermarkt actually has his transfer fee at £37.8m

How accurate are they? Seems slightly inflated. They have his current value at £31.5m...

Usually quite good tbh, but that’s were I got the £35m from.

You're not getting any cash. It's a player for player deal. With 6 months left and nobody else willing to pay him what he wants you have little choice.

As if we're going to pay you £15m and give you a player easily worth £30m for a player nearly out of contract.

Dream on.

It’s a straight swap. Alexis has 5 months left on his contract. Economically we are getting a very good deal. The only problem is Mkhi is crap.

I think £35m was what Arsenal asked from any club interested in Sanchez alone.
Man U use Mkhitaryan as compensation, provided Arsenal want him (that is the case) and he wants to come (not keen but mummy Raiola told him to do it for the money).
Is Mkhitaryan worth £20m? Probably. So would be fair to me.

If it was a straight swap, the deal would have been done by now.

All the noise is it’s a straight swap.

The deal hasn’t been done because Mkhi’s agent is trying to squeeze every £££

I'd be surprised if there wasn't some money going from United to Arsenal as well as Mkhi.

HM probably worth about £50m in this market. We are getting mugged if we do this deal. I don't even swapping for Sanchez is a good deal.

I don't even think swapping Mkhitaryan for Sanchez is a good deal.

Mhiki's agent is trying to get a wage rise and a 'golden handshake' from United. That last bit might be what is holding up the deal

I couldn't agree more.

Miki is finished at United. How anyone sees him as a 50m player I don’t know, rubbish for over a year in premier league and only decent in Europe.
Clearly a good player but United too much for him.

It's not like Sanchez is doing great either with 6 months left on his contract.

if he performed like he did for Dortmund then maybe but are you seriously saying with how he's played for us he's doubled in value? he has 1 goal this, yes he hasent played much but that's because when he has he's been gash, I honestly hope he goes on a good run for arsenal because hes someone I was really excited about when he signed but its just not worked

Wenger is making it up as he goes along. Ozil and Mkie, Lacazette and Aubameyang. How are they going to accomodate these players in one team. It's a joke. Our midfield and defence need seeing to. No strategy, no planning. Wenger needs to go.

OP is kidding right? Alexis has like 5 months left on his contract. Anything other than a straight swap (without money involved) is a good deal for us. Mkhi could flop for us, but could easily be a hit too.
