Yet you'll hear a certain someone saying he needs to make "the next step etc etc" BS remarks.
Kid has performed at every level available at youth... whether it be u18, u23 or against League 1/2 first team sides in Checkatrade trophy (or being integral to England u17s winning would cup).
Deserves a chance (on merit).
Would back Hudson-Odoi to be much more effective than Bakayoko who has made no step/progress (and just looks like a body in the way) yet Conte still willingly persists with him.
What's the justification for that?

Hudson-Odoi didn't cost £40million.
We can see how he performs against Chelsea first eleven in a training session multiple times and if he does well, there is no mistake in playing him.In my opinion,Musonda and Hudson should be given chances in the first team more often especially Musonda.
Find it frustrating that his peers for U17 in Foden and Sancho are getting gametime (it's minimal gametime, I'd expect no more) while he continues to play at a level he's getting to the point he's too good for.

hmmm I'm a man who, if they are good enough, let em play. All this stepping up nonsense. Messi played for a great barca team at 16. However we have played christensen, ampadu and musonda this year.
We have bought barkley, dwater and sigh...bakayoko too.
So we can't integrate everyone. That's my only defence of this tbh.
I do think he is our BRIGHTEST current talent, however when I heard those words Conte spoke of him, it didn't fill me with confidence that he was going to use him anytime soon.
I do hope we don't let him slip through the net with endless, pointless loans and disenfranchise the lad.
