Alan has already owned you

Levy is your chairman, not your owner. You may want to thank joe lewis for investment

Oops messed up on the debt bit tbh! Forgot about Alan!

But yes Levy is our owner and chairmen, the club is owned by ENIC which Levy is a major shareholder in. Lewis 71% Levy 29%. Levy has always run Tottenham, Lewis has never been involved in anything to do with us. Get your facts right.

Lewis has shown interest lately which leads to speculation in the club being sold in the near future.

Lewis currently is the main investor in Tavistock Group, which owns more than 175 companies in 15 countries. Tavistock Group's portfolio includes life sciences, sports teams (Tottenham Hotspur)

He is managing director of ENIC International Ltd, an investment company, sports, entertainment and media group, and replaced Sir Alan Sugar as chairman of Tottenham in February 2001 after ENIC bought a controlling stake in the club. ENIC is controlled by Joseph Lewis. Levy was formerly a director of the Scottish football club Rangers, in which ENIC held a significant stake. ENIC has also in the past held stakes in other European football clubs including AEK Athens, Slavia Prague and Vicenza as well as non-football companies such as Warner Bros and Autonomy.

I mean, seriously, this info is widely availible.

Levy still owns 29% in the company that owns Tottenham, so yes he does own 29% of Tottenham while Lewis owns 71%

But Lewis hasn't , he lets Levy get on with it. Lewis is too busy with his own personal business interests, everything Tottenham have done under ENIC is down to Levy.

Yeah, still means its funded by lewis in the majority.

Its like the glazers asking david gill to spend money on the club.

Utter cobblers to suggest this is coming out of levy's pocket when he isn't the majority shareholder.

It will be without a shadow of a doubt coming from lewis pocket even if levy is doing the work.

You'll find ENIC haven't put a penny in to the club, everything the club has spent is generated from the club.

But Levy is still an owner of ENIC so he is an owner of Tottenham.

Suck on that

posted on 16/9/11

No, he is a minority stake holder, by quite a large amount.

And that 45 million will be coming from lewis, not levy.

verything the club has spent is generated from the club."

So why write the cobblers that levy is spending money on training complex, which he isnt anyway, if spurs are self sufficient.

Which by the way is not true, the amount you lot of spent in recent years, you have a lot to thank lewis for.

posted on 16/9/11

I think you'll find that ENIC put in £15m in the season ending April 2011

posted on 16/9/11

That 45 million will be a loan on Tottenham, nothing from ENIC.

He is spending 45 million, he's part ownership of Tottenham so he's using his club to fund the training complex.

We are self sufficient hence the training complex is funded from a loan and will increase the value of the Tottenham Hotspur brand.

We have an average of 10 million a season net, but since we haven't spent much in the last 3 transfer windows and generated a lot from the Champions League we have a lot of money. Also the players we buy are mainly transfer funds spread over a few years, instead of all up front.

If Lewis cared that much about Tottenham and gave us so much money he'd loan the money to Tottenham to build the stadium but he's not giving a single penny, we will borrow from the banks.

Where is your source of info for ENIC putting 15 million in to the club in April 2011?

posted on 16/9/11

Well im not claiming that he loves the club, he is a buisnessman, and whilst 2.7 billion is a lot of money, it isnt comparable to abramovich so he cant flush money down the pan at each oppertunity.

Its sensible what he does.

Tavistock Group Foundation is also one of the most philanthropic charitable institutions in the Western World...........Levy is one of around 22 Key Senior Executives at Tavistock. He heads up Enic International Ltd, (ENIC stands for English National Investment Company)

As previously stated ENIC did indeed own interests in other European clubs including the Blue half of Glasgow, now their primary focus is only on THFC.

Lewis adopts an arms length management style, which means he does not get involved at WHL on a day to day basis. The Tavistock Executives meet at a monthly board meeting in the Bahamas..................

Lewis is currently negotiating with Mitchell & Butler, the brewery to restaurant company, who own Harvesters, Toby Restaurants & Browns etc to buy them for around £1b...........................Lewis's personal fortune is estimated at between £3.5 to £4.5 billion.

I like to eat the doo doo's
But Levy is still an owner of ENIC so he is an owner of Tottenham.

Levy is the Chairman of THFC Plc, he does not own the Club. The Club is wholly owned by ENIC International Ltd which in turn is a subsidary of Tavistock Group...........
