well the madrid fans certainly had heard of the famous glasgow Rangers given they were singing glasgow rangers championees

And another Rangers myth is born

were they singing it in English or Spanish?

posted on 16/9/11

no myth, thought you would have heard it. after all your normally listening out for offensive songs

Myth. As you point out Celtic fans have exceptionally keen hearing and would have noticed any songs involving Rangers. Athletico no doubt are aware of your clubs anti catholic history and being a vehemently anti fascist club during the Spanish Civil war, to egrandise Rangers would be an anathema to everything their club and fans stand for. So as I said, Myth!

I could imagine Real Madrid singing your name bearing in mind their pro fascist history. But they would have to have heard of you first.
