If only there was a charity event at the end of the season that charity bets could go towards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
đđđ
Never miss an opportunity đ
I will go the 50 for charity per Smids bet as well
That’s 220 in total now by my reckoning
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was going to be selfish and post a link to my own charity page for the London Marathon for it
I haven't started fundraising for that though as yet and I don't want it to impact the Official JA606 Scottish Charity
----------------------------------------------------------------------
put it up when you sort it out chief Ill stick money into that ... My mrs tried to enter the London but was unsuccesful. She is doin the Edinburgh and Inverness instead. If you havent done the Inverness Marathon look into it. Its tougher than normal due to the hills but the scenery at the start are stunning.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cheers
5 years of applying and I finally got in when I was nowhere near ready just to start training
12/13 weeks to go and my miles start to build up now.
I had looked at Inverness, Edinburgh and Manchester but it's my first and possibly only marathon I'll ever do so it had to be the big one. Streets lined with people and atmosphere the whole 26 miles. By all accounts the others are for the majority out in the country. Nice scenery aside I would be utterly bored.
I just want to get round it. I can do halfs no problem with a bit of training but this is a whole new beast to tackle.
I am doing it for a charity called Brightest Star. It's very very close to home for both friends, the kids team I coach and my kids school and friends

You don't need to worry about that. Losing bets are always paid on this site.
Well when I say 'always'...there was that one time....

Kl I will keep an eye out for it. Iv done the Edinburgh half, and the Inverness full. full marathon proper done me in tho took about 2/3 weeks afore my legs felt right literally couldnt walk down stairs for 3 days, going up aint so bad but going down is near impossible! Your proper buzzing after it tho for about a week.
brave OP...I doff my cap (well if I had one -lol) but I think you will finish behind Rangers and fair chance it could be ten points plus....I still wish you well in that battle for 2nd As stated many times on here, I don't Aberdeen at all

There will be Murtymania by next season if we can start slapping the dross of the league about like we're used too.
And this comment is why ladies and gentlemen non Rangers football fans despise just how arrogant the WATP nutters are.
