The transfer gossip surrounding Chelsea has been comical. Little to no attempt is being made to sign class players that are or were available yet it all seems like back up options to Morata, which you already have but doesn't seem good enough yet want to sign players worse than him. Then there's the case of plenty of young players out on loan doing well who should be given a chance to make a claim rather than spend money on those who will hardly be any help.
He'd flop hard with us. Strikers of his ilk always do. Glad we're not in for him.
Guess the way you guys set up won't help but he'll put the ball in the back of the net with his feet more often than Morata.
Why isn't any other team in for him? Others must know something we don't!
Someone with such a good goal return would be on top of anyone's shopping list yet not even an enquiry insice been there?!?
Very odd
As an Arsenal I ask the same question (we're not really in for him, it's just a stunt from the club)
OP I have no idea why we're not in for Aubameyang. Been asking myself that very same question. Can only think that the club are no longer sanctioning big money buys.
For me the worst case scenario is if we get Giroud and Arsenal get Aubameyang as that would show how far we're falling behind even the likes of Arsenal in the transfer market, let alone the Manchester clubs who seem light years away now.
Maybe your owner is no longer interested in bankrolling your team. Thus the reason with being linked with Crouch, Slimani, Barnes etc. Aubameyang is too expensive for them.
This is the same Aubameyang that was seriously comtemplating moving to China before the window re-opened.Plus he's been whoring himself around the top clubs for the past 2 seasons now,and wanting big fat wages in the process, and know one has came forward, until now that is.
His attitude amongst all of the above has been pretty poor too and has shown little respect to BVB,who are a big club themselves.
So,talented that he is do you really want that type of player at the club ?
Granted Chelsea should be doing better than reportedly going after Carrol,Crouch and maybe even Drezko but you can also do better than Aubameyang.
I know, very strange that none of the big boys have signed him, especially looking at his goal return, he is one of the best in Europe. It does make me think there is something with regard to his attitude.
For me Giroud wouldn’t be the worst buy, rather have him than caroll, barnes, a 37 year old Peter Crouch, Slimani, Rondon or whatever other mediocre striker the people in charge of transfers at Chelsea are pulling out of a hat on a daily basis

Giroud would be a hundred times better than all those other names mentioned. But signing him while Aubameyang goes to Arsenal would just feel like we're getting the short end of the stick.

Indeed superb, but hopefully it looks like arsenal are trying another £40 million and a pound deal so I could also see them missing out on him.
I’m surprised we haven’t thought about a cheeky loan move for kalou
For the same reasons put out by GeniusAppleCart !,he sounds like a poncey little priik, consumed in his own jumbo sized ego.As said ,he has shown no respect for Dortmund or their fans,
WE DON?T WANT HIM.
What about trying to sign Andre Schurrle? He used to have a knack of scoring crucial goals from the bench regularly until getting sold by Chelsea. He was like Kalou during his time at Chelsea and I liked him as a player.
Fee agreed between Dortmund and Arsenal for Aubameyang.
Hope I'm proved wrong but that should be us signing him
