Meh, he knows nothing about us or any team below the big 6. Let him waffle.
On a completely separate matter, Talksport have just announced that Leonardo Ulloa is very close to completing a loan deal to Brighton.
We're a disgrace for not starting Jamie Vardy apparently.
Probably because we're forcing him to attempt the pronunciations of Iheanacho and Diabate.
basically he said Puel is a "disgrace" because of the team he picked today. That was before the game of coarse but he generally talks a load of carp dont know how much they pay these guys.
Then Owen said Ian should have passed when he scored his first goal he scored you donut, dear me
Danny Mills was clearly rooting for Posh on 5 live too but hey I don't pay for my TV license or sky! I kind of agreed with Owen and Savage on that one tbh as it was more of a risk to shoot but hey that's football.
hardly a "disgrace" not playing Vards , odd thing to say considering the amount of strikers we have. I agree he is a total tool.
You didn't need Vardy today.
because Vardy is so awesome people want to see him play, except for England of course when he will played totally inappropriately.
Thought our team was still a strong one, our squad is pretty big. Wouldn't expect that mug Merson to know anything about that though.
It was a typical ex football player come pundit type of rant really. They usually just waffle on fairly generically because, in reality, they don't know an awful lot about clubs outside the big 6.
I liked the side when I saw it because, unlike Fleetwood, it looked balanced. Also Simpson, Fuchs, Maguire, Iborra and Gray can all make claims to be first choice. Silva and Diabete are new signings and Ian scored 2 in the last round. Only Benny, Hamer and Barnes were genuine B team players. But I wouldn't expect many so-called pundits to have spotted this. Much easier to see 10 changes and immediately start going on about not respecting the cup.
At least Puel learned from the last FA cup game and didn't start James and King together in an unfamiliar formation.
Our team was strong and, as Joby says, well balanced. If playing your £25m striker over your £1m one is an insult, Merson should probably give up punditry!
Nacho is looking like the striker we wanted to see. I’d be tempted to rest Vardy a bit more to get him some game time against weaker opposition.
Not sure about resting Vards, but I defiantly agree Nacho has done more than enough now to get some game time in the league.
I thought Ian was great today. I just am not sure
he and Vardy can work together.
As for BTs coverage was embarrasing it was sobiased
towards Posh. I know they picked that game because
they want to cover a giant killing.Shame for them thatwe were 3-0 up after 20 minutes. Their presenter closed the show by saying there was no romance in the cup at Peterbrough. Shame they didnt pick the obvious

How dare you lot have a go against this deeply respected and sensible pundit. Absolutely outrageous that you don't understand the depth of knowledge and understanding of the game he demonstrates on a consistent basis.
Oh hang on a minute, Claude's got the selection spot on again - we've thrashed them 5-1. OK you're right, Merston was talking utter drivel.
Not sure where my commentary on the match was from yesterday
As I use Russian and Spanish links for hd pictures,
And run a second English audio stream in the background, usually 20 seconds ahead or behind 🙃
But It sounded like BT sport
But they actually said that the 2nd team thing is long dead and the clubs in reality play
A mix of fringe and youngsters in early rounds
But they lack playing time together and this is the Only advantage the smaller teams have now,
