AUBAMEYANG ARRIVES AT ARSENAL

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now arrived at Arsenal's training ground at London Colney after his flight from Germany, Sky Sports News understands.

So who have Dortmund signed as a replacement? Thought it all hinges on them getting another striker in

All this Dortmund needing to buy is BS, we keep Giroud.

I'm waiting to see him in an Arsenal shirt as I cant quite believe it will go through. And at least this lot have the decency to have a few possible formations. I think it was Sky only had one and said it was the mst likely to happen with Mkhi for Iwobi and Auba in as a straight swap for Ozil who was dropped .

As long as Dortmund dont make a deal public at the stock exchange this deal wont go through. It's imminent when Dortmund goes public.

Aubameyang can land where he wants.

Disagree, a medical only happens when both sides have agreed on the deal. No way he’d be flying over if this deal want imminent.

They can prepare and taken a medical as they like. Dortmund is listet at the stock exchange and if the deal is accepted they have to public it first. Otherwise it isnt imminent.

Surely Arsenal have their say: they won't sign Aubam before he goes through medical. After that BVB will have to make it public.

No way they would sanction a medical. If the Deal isnt imminent, why wouldn’t they wait til tomorrow then!. The medical is always the last past of the deal. Only when both parties have agreed a agreed a fee and the player has agreed his terms does a medical happen. They would not let him fly over if this wasn’t getting done.

The deal is imminent, just not complete yet. The fact that BVB have given Aubameyang and Arsenal permission to conduct the medical is proof of this.

However it's only 100% confirmed when BVB declare it on the stock exchange.

This seems to suggest BVB are very confident of securing a replacement for Aubameyang, otherwise they wouldn't give permission for Auba to fly over to London, let alone conduct a medical.

I hope BVB get replacement other than Batshuayi because I would want Giroud to stay. Especially knowing Auba is not eligible to play in Europa? I don't want to rely upon Welback as a backup to Lacazette.

Here it is again. A deal gets through if Dortmund found a replacement otherwise he can have medicals as he likes. It's close but not over.

------------------------------

NO. He can't have a facking medical if he likes. He needs BVB to give him a clear OK, otherwise Arsenal can be done for player tampering. They've obviously told Arsenal to conduct the medical but the final acceptance cannot go through until BVB sign the deal.

I don't see how that contradicts what i just said.

I dunno if it's a language barrier thing, but what you're implying is that Aubameyang walked in London Colney off his own accord. He can't. He needs the okay from BVB. He's obviously got that, but the final sign off is delayed until BVB get their replacement.

posted on 30/1/18

Oh, and btw GT you wanna get back in the Arsenal thread now, or wait until i've handed the OP over to someone else on the 2nd?

posted on 30/1/18

You surely misunderstood what I was saying. Of course Auba has Dortmund's permission to travel. But the deal is not done yet and wont be if Dortmund dont find a replacement.

posted on 30/1/18

It looks good but deal isnt done yet. It can fail in the final minute.

Oh. So it's a language thing. Yeah i agree.
