The board are to blame as well. But I might have some sympathy with Wenger if we didn’t look totally clueless tactically and have no idea how to defend. That’s his job. League 2 teams look more solid than us. The board don’t train the players. The club is t blame for not sacking him mainly.

How did Mkhitaryan do? (if he played).

He’s a slow starter, apparently it took him a season to get going at Dortmund and he never really got going with us, just interested whether he looked the part tonight

Our self entitled fans show their rotten self once again. No other club has a set of fans quite like our own fans. One loss and its like the world is about to end.
I suppose Conte should have gone when we beat them last week. A result that is clearly forgotten by our spoilt fans. Have you lot never heard of peaks and troughs? You cannot go through a season and win every single game. Now on the budget Wenger has been operating on, he's done well in managing to get us to 13 FA Cup titles. He's got rid of a cancer in Sanchez and we're close to getting Aubamayang and we've got Mkhi. So we've strengthened this window and we still have detractors. Only arsenal fans.

How have we strengthened when we have the midfield and defence we have?

Man City lost against Liverpool the other week, didn't see many City fans calling for Pep to get sacked yet our fans go into full out Wenger mode whenever we lose a game. I've said this many times, there's no other fanbase that are self entitled as much as Arsenal fans.

Kroenke will reward Wenger with a new contract at double the salary. He thinks Wenger is doing a fantastic job.

What are you going on about - are you smoking Crack?
City have lost one match and drawn two all season and are playing fantastic football - we're not expecting that but Arsenal have now lost SEVEN and drawn six and can't hack it away from home - choking when it gets tough is a Wenger team's trademark - this pattern has happened season after season, whether there is money to spend or no money to spend - it's like Groundhog Day !

A new manager will be a temporary fix. There seems to be a lot more issues at the club than just Wenger. Don't get me wrong, I think it's time for him to leave, along with the coaching staff. But any improvement in performances will be short lived unless you're willing to make bigger changes. That means spending money in getting players that are up to par for league title challenges. Man City have spent over £200 million on defenders and goalkeepers alone. That's what you are looking at doing yourselves if you want to challenge for the title. That also means getting in players which you can rely on to stay fit. JW will be a casualty of this if that is what you want. Then you have also to sort out the DM and Cm positions. Your attacking players seem fine for the short to medium term at the moment. But unless you make big changes now, they will need replacing as well. It's a mistake SAF made in under investing in the squad and retiring. Left with an aging back line, midfield and attackers on the decline. New man Ed didn't help and the team has had to spend big to get to where it is now. Don't just think it is Wenger. You'll be in a shock if you do once he leaves.
